I am starting a network of sites and wanted to inquire about using ECP for multiple sites. I already have a team roping site (rodeo sport) and I am starting another for barrel racing (another rodeo sport). I want these two to be separate but filter all the events into one main parent site. Make sense? Do you have a tutorial or any information on how to make this happen? Is it possible?

How are you configuring these sites – is this a multisite network, or just a network linked by a blogroll or something similar?
It will be a multisite network. the only thing linked will be the events to the main site. For example we are creating the parent, Equine Sports News site. It’s children sites will be Champion Roper and Champion Barrel Racer. Both of which will utilize ECP for their own events. Equine Sports News ideally will have events from both. I would love if I could enter events into ESN and specify which site I want it on, but that can come later on with heavier development. Does this clarify a little better.

At this point, on the multisite end, the plugin unfortunately cannot provide a broader parent calendar based purely off content from the sub-sites. We have had some demand for this and are exploring what it’d take to integrate down the road but at the time being that’d have to be hacked together (or done with a third-party plugin). If you wanted an easier way to get events imported we have a CSV importer I’d be happy to let you beta test…but for now that’s probably the best solution I’ve got.
