MemberHi Julie,
Thanks for posting your request in our Feature Ideas forum! We are constantly working to improve our calendar and include new features for our customers: unfortunately the option to automatically update the time of your event based on user’s local timezone is not available yet, but it might be in the future.
Thank you for your feedback and if you need anything else, please let us know!
Regards,
Patricia

July 10, 2017 at 4:49 pm in reply to: SHOW MAP LINK and SHOW MAP not importing in our events csv file #1319215Patricia
MemberHey Jo-Anne,
Thanks for contacting us!
I have imported your CSV file and I could replicate the problem you are experiencing from here. This is a known issue that was (supposedly) fixed in our maintenance release 4.4.4:
CSV import of events, disables show map link, show map fields
I am reviewing the status of this bug report right now.
Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!

Thanks for contacting us!
To be able to add RSVPs for your events, you need to install and activate the free version of Event Tickets ( please access this link to download it ).
I hope this helps!

MemberHey Alex,
Please add this snippet to your functions.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/aceabe1f914a0583340396d25c0b2308
This code will update the default time for both The Events Calendar and Community Events.
Let me know if this works for you or if you need anything else and I’ll be happy to assist!

This snippet you are trying to implement was written in 2015 and our code base has changed since then. We will review this snippet and get back to you as soon as we have further information!

MemberHi Julie!
Please accept my sincere apologies as I misunderstood your initial request. The options presented earlier in this thread will allow you to use your WordPress timezone OR local timezones for each event. None of these options will automatically update the date and time of your event based on the user’s local timezone.
I think it would be possible to filter the times and dates, but that would require some customization.
I would start with the Themer’s Guide and getting down to the functions that show the time and start there.
We do have a list of recommended developers who could help you out with the code if you need it:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
If this is something you want to see implemented in future releases, I would recommend casting a vote in our Feature Ideas forum to let us know.

July 7, 2017 at 2:58 pm in reply to: How do I change previous events to show most recent event first? #1317692Patricia
MemberHey Jessica,
Thanks for contacting us!
By default the calendar list events on the Past Events page in chronological order. If you want to show the events in reverse order, you can use the snippet mentioned in this article to change it.
I hope this helps!

The time format for events uses the same format that is set globally for your entire WordPress site. From the main dashboard, head over to Settings > General. There is a section towards the bottom of the screen called “Time Format” that gives you a variety of options to choose from, including the military time format you are looking for.
I hope this helps! 🙂

I’ve tried to replicate the issue you are experiencing from my end using the same plugin versions and WordPress version as you are and everything is working properly as I can see from here.
Can you please run a test and verify if there’s a conflict by following this Tutorial and let us know your test results? This is an important step to identify the cause and solve the issue you are experiencing.
Let us know if you need anything else in the mean time!
