MemberHowdy Stéphane,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. Also thanks for the detailed issue report. This might be a bug as you state, before confirming this I would try to reproduce this locally. It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end. I see that event_tickets_plus_is_incompatible_tickets_core_installed logic is about checking for the ‘right versions’ of the matching plugins.
Please let me know about it so I can try to reproduce this,

MemberPS: I’ll also look into the ‘new’ ordering issue that was maybe introduced in 4.0.

MemberHey Terri,
Thanks for reaching out to us! And sorry to hear this issue hasn’t been address still. I’ve checked the backlog and I could find the ticket Geoff logged when you reported this. Unfortunately this wasn’t included in the 4.0 release of APM that just came out. I see there’s no specific date for this, but I’ll ping the product manager to get some update on this.
I’ll keep you posted,

MemberHowdy rariasjr,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us! I’m glad you could sort the issue with the plugin update/activation, sorry for that.
Regarding the issues you describe above…
1). On the page where you enter the community events, it is duplicating my before & after content located in the advanced template settings:
I’ve tried to reproduce this locally, but it’s working as expected. Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
2). Also, I’m wondering if there’s a better way to add a “Submit Community Event” button on the main calendar page. Currently, my shortcode styling doesn’t work and is very recessive. I there was a way to add this in my sidebar widget? This would also be useful.
You could add this as a text widget (https://cloudup.com/c4GgVciERUa), and then give that a little styling if needed.
Please let me know about both issue,

MemberHi @danfeeley and @fireflycinemas,
Thanks both for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear you are both being affected by this bug 🙁
We are aware of this bug and a fix is under development an our intention is for it to be included in the maintenance release coming out really soon. Just to be sure your case will be covered by the fix, I would need further tests on your side…
First please make sure you are running latest versions of all our plugins, then Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? If the issue is still present in default conditions can send over exact steps to reproduce this behaviour?
If I edit the ticket, it says stock is -4.
You just go ahead and save the ticket without making any changes? Do you change a particular field? If you continue editing the stocks continues to decrease?
Please let me know about this,

NicoNico
MemberHi Greg,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ve inspected your sites and it seems it’s working as expected now, right?
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberHey Marco,
Thanks for following up with this 🙂
Yeap, you are right about the versions… Do you have your license keys configured in your server? If you go to ‘WP-Admin > Dashboard > Updates’ You can manually update your plugins.
After updating the plugins try re-installing APM and check that all plugins are running the same version (4.0).
You can also run a quick test on a sample site (clean local WordPress install or something quick to set up) and install The Events Calendar + Events Calendar PRO + APM (latest versions) and see what the outcome is. Maybe it’s not working on your site because of something else.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Rachel,
Thanks for clarifying the issue 🙂
I guess the best way to ‘bulk edit’ all this data is to run a MySQL Query (via phpmyadmin for example) to set all those ‘Free’ cost values to ‘0’ instead. Make sure to do a db back-up before running the query!

Please let me know if you could manage to run the fix (and if it worked) or if you prefer a less technical solution,

MemberHey Frank,
Thanks for confirming this 🙂
Previous fix wasn’t working as expected in the live site of one of the folks here, that’s why I suggested Geoff fix as well. Hope to see this messy issue fixed in the upcoming maintenance release.

MemberHey Tommy,
Thanks for jumping in and sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue as well.
Can you please open up a new thread for this? Having just a user/issue per thread usually makes them move faster. When creating the new thread please be sure to Test for conflicts and include your system information, that will surely help getting a better reply. You can also include a link back to this thread if you want.

MemberHey Lukas,
Glad the code worked as expected 🙂
Release: The Events Calendar Version 4.0 + all add-ons was out on December 2, just a few days ago. All WooTickets license holders are automatically given a Event Tickets Plus license (with the same expiration date) to do the switch to our new plugin. You should be able to download the plugin in ‘My Account > Downloads’ from the top menu in this site. If you are going to migrate from WooTickets to Event Tickets Plus, this article can be of help: Moving to Event Tickets Plus.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberStocked to hear Kyle 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.

MemberHey Isabelle,
Thanks for following up on this! I guess the problem you and Paul experiencing might be different. In his case he doesn’t seem to be using iCal importer, but in your case it seems to be related to the fact that you imported the events from an external feed.
I mean if you create a new event from the WordPress dashboard, Does it show up correctly on the front-end? Because from what Paul described I understand the issue we are trying to address here.
Regarding your other issue, it will be addressed by someone in the team shortly but for now check this answer to a similar case: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ical-import-worked-once-now-your-search-returned-no-results-every-time/#dl_post-1029844
Please let me know about it,

MemberHey Douglas,
Thanks for clarifying this! I think I follow you now. I will give this a try tomorrow locally cause I’m not sure at all what might be affecting how this works.
If you can also follow our Testing for conflicts guide it will be great to discard the possibility of this being a conflict with other plugin or the site’s theme itself.
Have a great weekend,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHowdy Mindy,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I must admit I’ve never heard of this issue so not sure where it’s coming from.
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
You can also try this in a new incognito browser window to see if there’s any chance? And be sure to check the orders for this in the backend.
Please let me know about your findings,
Have a great weekend,
Nico -
