MemberHi Terri,
Just wanted to give you a quick heads up on this issue, the fix for this will hopefully be included in the APM maintenance release π
I couldn’t look at the ordering issue but I’ll try to do so tomorrow!
Thanks,

MemberHey Jim,
Super stocked to hear π This issue was surely annoying for all of you guys and I appreciate your patience. I will leave the ticket open til 4.0.1 is out and you can confirm this is finally (and fully) solved.
Thanks a lot,
NicoNico
MemberHey Mindy,
Thanks a lot for running those tests!
I’m still a bit puzzled on why this is happening to that particular item. Per this WordPress.org support thread it seems like changing the time an item can be “reserved” in the cart might help clearing this message. Can you try that?
If that doesn’t work is it an option to re-create the ticket? Maybe go into WP-Admin > Products > All products > find this ticket, edit it and re-save it? Maybe resetting the stock field value?
Please let me know if any of these solutions work for you,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey kris,
Thanks for reaching out! We’ve heard reports of the AM/PM part of the date not getting correctly saved, and a fix for this is already being developed. It won’t make t to the maintenance release as it’s still under development right now, but hope it get’s fixed soon.
@ Thomas, is this you case as well (the AM/PM part of the date not being saved and generating the weird date) ?
Please let me know about this,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Niko,
Sorry but I didn’t understand much of your last reply. I’ll try to re-cap a bit on this:
- I understand you deleted (del?) all language files that were not French. This is not necessary at all, in fact I would recommend re-downloading the plugins with all languages files.
- I’m still not sure if you are running a multilingual site or just a site in French. This is important to see where the issue is coming.
- I see this issue is posted in the Community Events Forum. Do you see the rest of the calendar translated or all calendar related words are in English.
- If follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide, and set your site language to French. Do you see the translation as expected?
Please let me know about those items and sorry for asking so many questions but if I don’t clearly understand the problem I won’t be able to help,
Thanks,

MemberHi Folks,
Thanks for collaborating around this, it’s much appreciated on our side π
As you say the process seems a bit tricky in some way. From what I could dig in the fastest way seems to be contacting the Deutsch Translation Team over Slack (https://de.wordpress.org/). I could find more help about joining WP Make in Slack (https://make.wordpress.org/chat/). I’m trying to become translator editor for Spanish so I can figure out some more details on this and probably write an article about this.
We know we are a bit Lost in translation but let’s try to turn over this situation with a bit more information for our translator users.
Please let me know if you manage to be approved to be a Translator Editor,
Thanks,

MemberHi there,
Thanks for the patience. We could dig in and identify the bug in our code that’s generating the offset. A patch for this is almost ready but needs some additional QA, and mostly sure it will be ready tomorrow. I’ll let you know when it’s ready…
Thanks again,

MemberHi Kate and Tommy,
Just wanted to let you know I’m running some additional test on my end, with different timezones settings and importing to different calendars.

Thanks for the patience on this,

MemberHey Tommy,
I see you’ve opened up a new thread, thanks for doing so. Sorry if this sounds like a waste of time, but from our experience it’s the best way to handle things around here.
I’m closing out this thread, hope you can get this right soon.

MemberHowdy Nicolas,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to hear about this issue, I’ll try to help you out figuring what’s happening.
First of all, Does your site have multiple languages? In case it does, how’s that achieved? If follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide, and set your site language to French, Do you see the translation as expected?
Please let me know about your findings,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to hear about this issue your experiencing.
Let’s start by trouble shooting this so we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins. Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? I see you mark as this was tested, just want to make sure.
In case you are seeing this bug with default conditions, Can you send me over detailed steps to reproduce this? It would be great if you can include a screenshot of the ticket settings and also indicate what date/time format your site is using.

MemberHey folks here,
First of all thanks @hansp21 for jumping in here and for suggesting a possible solution to the issue π
@ Paul, Can you check the solution Hans posted?
I think your case is not related to daylight saving date, but I might be wrong so please elt me know about it,

MemberHey Lucas,
Sorry to hear you are still stuck with this issue π
Regarding the 502 error, that sounds like a config or other error in the server, not sure about what can be causing it.
Can you tell me how to uninstall The Events calendar, as well as purge the DB table, and reinstall it.
- To uninstall the plugin just deactivate it and then delete the files (from the plugins panel or directly via FTP).
- If you don’t have any content a part from Events in the site, you can create a fresh WordPress install. That would be the best. If you are not able to rest the install you can delete the events manually (or via Bulk Delete plugin) and the run Optimize database plugin, after using the plugins you can delete/deactivate them.
- Now you can re-download the plugin from ‘My Account > Downloads’ (top bar of this site) and re-install them
Also is there documentation for properly exporting and importing events so these repeats donβt happen?
Using the WordPress export/import tool is what I would recommend. Just be sure to import venues and organizers before events.
Hope this info helps you get the staging site up and running,
Best,
NicoPS: make sure to back-up your data before doing all of this.

MemberHi Oliver and Hans,
Thanks for both for bringing this to our attention! From what I could see on the WP.org translation site there are a bunch of translations waiting for approval. I found various of the strings you mentioned above.
I’ll follow up with the procedure for becoming “Translation Editor” and be able to approve those strings. I see there’s no guide in place for that, so I’ll try to put something together covering the process.
Regarding the ‘case’ issue, it is logged and still being discussed (seem it’s a rather complex issue). Unfortunately I have no timeline for when it will be addressed.
Thanks for the report once again,
Best,
