MemberSounds good Paul! I guess the website can be a good events archive, and as upcoming events always show up-font I guess the users won’t be distract by past events.
If I “post a thread” and ask this question, will it be seen by the broader EC community? Or is that the same as posting here?
Yes, this thread is visible to the community in fact and anyone can comment. I suggest you post this to our WordPress.org support forum to get other users opinion. As we support our free/core version there, the community is bigger and often users help each other and jump into threads.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberHey @rstoeber,
Before I run some tests, I have some doubts on this.
When you refer to the ‘Cost Field’ are you talking about each Ticket price? And when you talk about the meta, is that assigned to the post or to the ticket?
Thanks,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Nigel,
Thanks for reaching out to us and congrats on the site launch, looks great 🙂
From what I see in the ‘This Week Widget’ template the image is not included by default. Are you making an override of the template or using some code to add it? Can you share that code with me so I can take a look and see if I can make the link right?
Please let me know about it,

MemberHi there @rstoeber,
Thanks for getting in touch with us to report this issue. We support Event Tickets over WordPress.org, just like The Events Calendar (core) and we support the premium add-ons here. That why you couldn’t find the right forum 🙂
I’ll share this issue with the dev team for them to take a closer look. Do you think there’s something I can do for you in the meantime? Maybe you can hide the ‘Cost: Free’ via CSS for now?
Thanks again for the report,
Have a great weekend,

MemberThanks for the testing 🙂
Instead of using ‘Amsterdam’ can you try to use UTC +1 (which I see is the correct timezone for Amsterdam)? And also change the timezone mode to “Use the sitewide timezone everywhere”.
Let’s see if this fixes the issue for you! Hopefully we can find a workaround and then investigate a bit more to log the bug.
Thanks one again,
Have a great weekend,

MemberHey Simon,
Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue! I’ll help you figuring out what’s going on here.
I’ve tried looking for some info in the theme, but let me say that I couldn’t find updated info on the Saico theme you are using. Seems it’s a very old theme, right? Do you think it’s possible to contact the theme authors?
Can send over the page.php code from the Saico theme (using GitHub’s Gist https://goo.gl/yAYY8X or a similar service to share) so I can take a look, maybe I can find an easy fix for this issue, not sure about that.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico

MemberHey Matthew,
Thanks fro getting back to me on this, and glad you mentioned the Genesis theme! I could find a logged issue with Genesis + mobile month view.
Hopefully there’s a fix planned for this, and in the meantime you can add the snippet below to your child theme functions.php file:

Please let me know if adding the snippets make it right,

MemberHey Claire,
Sorry to hear the snippet didn’t work for you 🙁
Can you share your system information with me so I can check and re-rest with the calendar version you are using?
Also can you point me to the page in your site where the widget is embedded?
Thanks,
Have a great weekend,

MemberHi David,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this issue!
Generally going over this guide Fixing HTTP 404 errors helps solving the issue. Can you please give it a go and let me know about the results?

MemberHi there @jadecreative,
Thanks for reaching out to us – I’ll help you decide if our plugins are the best for this new project!
I imagine we could achieve what appears as a multiple calendar scenario by using event categories and then calling categories into specific pages. I’m happy with that as a solution, unless there is a better way,
I guess this is the best way of doing so. In fact I can’t think of any other simple way to achieve this.
1. Can we prevent users from being able to go back to the main calendar? We could probably just use CSS for this. Do you foresee any issues with this?
You might need to hide some links as you point out, and maybe change some of them in the templates.
2. Is there a way to prevent events from showing in the main calendar and ONLY showing in the category assigned to? I ask because we could have many, many calendars based on categories and don’t want to full up the main calendar with all of these events. Essentially, the calendar is for a brand that has many stores and each store wants it’s own calendar and the main brand will have it’s own events to show in the main calendar BUT it all needs to be housed in the same system. Is this possible?
Sure it’s possible to make it work, but I guess you’ll need to set-up a test site and fully check if this is the right solution for you. You can use different hacks to hide ‘categorized’ events from the main calendar or similar things like that to clean up the main calendar view.
3. For the importer, the feed wasn’t bringing through updates to current events. So if an event was updated in the feed, the update didn’t come through to the existing event. Is there a way to allow the feed to ‘replace all existing events with events in the feed?’ so that we get updated events?
Are you referring to iCal Importer? I see there’s a logged bug named “Recurring Imports are not updating changes”, the fix for this will be included in the new release (to be launched next month) first maintenance release. I have no dates on when it will be released but two weeks after the new version release maybe.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberHey Steve,
Thanks for the report, and sorry to hear about this issue. Seems they are just deprecated function notices.
It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end. Looks like you shared the WooCommerce system info, Can you check the link I’ve sent to get that info from the events calendar help tab?
Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
