Great catch! I have absolutely no idea what can be causing this. Maybe it’s a specific widget code that makes it works? You can try to disable the widgets one by one to get more info on this, or maybe it’s some code on the sidebar.php file that makes it work?

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll point you in the right direction here…

The single events template (if not overwritten by the theme or child theme) uses the tribe_event_featured_image function that’s basically a wrapper for WordPress built-in function get_the_post_thumbnail. The difference is that tribe_event_featured_image adds some extra markup around the img tag.

Per default we use the full size, but that can be changed by overriding the single event template (as described in our themer’s guide) if you use other sizes or methods to call images.

This sometimes take a few hours to process, but I’ve just checked your account and I see you indeed have a valid license for both plugins. As this is the case I guess there’s no need for the refund.

Regarding private events showing up, I’ve checked in the source code of the widget and seems it only shows private events to users that have the capability to read_private_tribe_events. If you log out from the admin area (or browse the site in incognito mode), Do you still see those?

On the reported issue, I’ve tried to reproduce it but it seems that the widget is respecting the timezone settings to calculate the current week. You mention your calendar is set to UTC-8, right? Are you in the same timezone? Maybe you where checking out the site from your own timezone so it was still Saturday for you but Sunday in UTC-8, could that be it?

My first guess is that the script is timing out due to server constrains. Can you try to set higher values for PHP max_execution_time and memory_limit config options?

If you are not sure about how to change those please contact your hosting providers on that.

How many pages is it capable of checking without timing out?

I think there’s no limit to it other than resources and time for the script to process the import.

Thanks for confirming this! What I’ve seen that suggested this might be a theme issue was that in the venue and single event pages I noticed a <div id="post-0"> tag, so maybe the post global var is being re-set or manipulated somewhere. Can you reach the theme author on this?

Hi Ren,

Sorry If I wasn’t clear enough, I assumed all the testing will be done in the staging / test site. Totally fine to do it there.

Just re-install the plugins in the test site, then regenerate permalinks and create a new test event. It’s important to re-download the plugin ZIPs as version 4.0.5 files where update shortly after release (common library sync). This was live for a short period of time, but long enough for some users to download it. We’ve seen some cases where glitches similar to this one happened because of that.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out and also for your interest in our products 🙂

Unfortunately there’s no built-in way of creating that filter. A work around would be to create an additional field with Events Calendar PRO and manually tag events that are out of stock, there’s an option to show them in Filter Bar. Not sure if that will work for you as it would require manual input of the out of stock events.

If you need to work automatically, you can always custom code it but that’s another story.
