How to add a Dropdown list in events calendar?

Good evening…

We’re developing a site in WP for a Concerts Club with The Events Calendar pluggin and to see the list of concerts at the main site We have replaced the loop for wordpress widget area . Currently we have the widget list in that area but we would need to search with a dropdown list as shown in this link.

Filter bar – having dropdown for the search

Our question is : How we can put the search within the widget to act on it?

And What file do We have to modify to see the dropdown in the view of

mysite.com/index.php/events
