    Thanks so much for the clarification! I can now clearly see this…

    Searching our backlog I see there’s a pretty similar bug with Sticky events order already log. Hopefully there’s a fix for this ready, and it will be released next week as part of maintenance release 4.1.2.

    I’ll set this thread status to Pending Fix, so you can test if the update fixes this for you and let me know.

    If I create an event and set it up in WordPress and have have the Eventbrite tickets add-on will it automatically update eventbrite. If I then change and update an event in Wordress later will it update automatically?

    Yes, this is correct!

    Do I need The Events Calendar Pro to use the Eventbrite Tickets addon or can I use the regular version?

    No, you don’t need Events Calendar PRO to use EventBrite tickets, you can use it with The Events Calendar core/free version.

    Is there a way to also update Facebook events from WordPress without having to enter anything in Facebook directly?

    Unfortunately not, our Facebook add-on only imports events from Facebook, but there’s no sync back from the WordPress site to Facebook.

    We currently don’t have PDF tickets anymore. Sorry I didn’t mention this earlier, you can read more on this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ticket-email-pdf/ – Brian explains it more deeply. As he states in the related thread unfortunately there’s no easy way of adding this back.

    Hey Gosia,

    Thanks for clarifying I guess we are on the same page. The solution I’m think of is to generate a new button that instead of ‘Adding event to Calendar’ let’s you ‘add all the series’ to the calendar. I guess I’ll be able to send something tomorrow.

    Taking a look at the code I’m not sure about your punctual question. I mean it seems to be an html mark-up issue (or CSS) for me. Can you send over the link to a single event with banner image so I can see this in the site?

    Also please note that we generally do not support theme specific issues or styling requests, but I’ll try to do my best to help you here…

    Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

    Hey Paul,

    Thanks for reaching out! I can help you here…

    First of all you should create the relevant Event Categories (Concert Season, Festival, Outreach, etc), and assign the correct one to each event. Once that’s done you can create a link to each one of them: site.com/events/category/festival. Regarding the landing page for each category, you can create a template override of the default event template (or page template you are using) and add a conditional to show some content depending on the current category. Take a look at the themer’s guide for more details on this.

    Thanks for adding your report! I’m working with George on this trying to identify the cause of the issue.

    Did you notice this after the 4.1.1 update? Can you please try to downgrade EventBrite Ticket to version 4.1 and re-test? If you get the same result can you try to downgrade TEC as well?

    By recurring event we refer to an event that takes place in different dates. It might be every day, every week, etc or it can repeat on different random days. This feature is often used for courses and classes, so I guess you’ll be covered.

    Thanks for following up! It does sounds like a bug, I would like to check on this to see if I’m able to reproduce it on my side as well.

    Can you send over a screenshot of the event configuration? I mean when the event doesn’t show up…

    Hey Mike,

    Some notes on it:

    • It’s just an outline! You might need to tweak it.
    • With lots of events it would take a long time to complete. Breaking it up so it does things in stages may be preferable.
    • It doesn’t remove some of the old, no longer required entries, but that shouldn’t present any problems in practice.
