I have a sticky event (stcp #54) in 2 April but calendar shows recurring events before it.

MemberHi Sofia,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this issue.
I’ve tried to reproduce this on my local install (with default WordPress theme and no other plugins active), but it seems to be working fine for me (https://cloudup.com/cqXPawJQLWm).
Are there any particular steps to reproduce this? Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico, I think problem is that “from date to date” events have more priority than sticky if date FROM start before sticky event.
How can we fix it ?-

MemberHi Sofia,
Thanks for following-up with this!
So you are saying that if I have an event let’s say from Monday to Friday (not recurring), and I have a sticky one on Wednesday, the other event would be in first place? Once we can identify / replicate this bug I’ll be able to log it to get it fix by the dev team. Until I don’t get and see the issue I won’t be able to think of a solution.
Could you review this in default conditions? It would be great to discard a conflict before moving forward.
Please let me know about it,
Best,

MemberSofia,
Thanks so much for the clarification! I can now clearly see this…
Searching our backlog I see there’s a pretty similar bug with Sticky events order already log. Hopefully there’s a fix for this ready, and it will be released next week as part of maintenance release 4.1.2.
I’ll set this thread status to Pending Fix, so you can test if the update fixes this for you and let me know.

MemberHi Sofia,
I just wanted to chime in and let you know that The Events Calendar 4.1.2 was just released and included a patch for the issue with Sticky Events in Month View. Please update to the latest version when you have a chance and let us know if you continue to have any issues.
Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on this!
