MemberHi bschindlholzer,
Good news! Those two issues are fixed in our upcoming release of The Events Calendar. Translations are kept updated and correct by community members, and we just had someone make both of those corrections. The files will be included in version 3.3 of The Events Calendar, so just keep an eye out for an update.

MemberHi apkoponen,
Thanks for posting. I looked at my notes, and it appears that our Finnish translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO is a few versions old. I suspect that between 3.1 and 3.2 something changed in the code, so the old translation is no longer mapped correctly to that string.
Would you be interested in updating the Finnish translation for TEC and ECP? We’d love to have it up to date for 3.2, and it should solve your translation issue (and a few others besides). Plus, we’d be happy to give you a free license for a plugin of your choice (or a free renewal on an existing license) as a thank you.
If you’re interested, head over to our Getting Started post. You’ll find everything you need there.

MemberThank Ivan! I got the files for The Events Calendar. Do you also have the updated ones for Events Calendar PRO? Once I have both I can review these.
Thanks,

MemberHey Tai,
I just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing on the Japanese translation. Do you need any help?

MemberThanks for these Torbjørn! And thanks for explaining about the difference- I’ll make sure these are added properly so they don’t overwrite the other Norwegian translation.
I’ll take a look over these files shortly and be back in touch. You will be credited in the readme.txt file 🙂 Once I’ve approved the files, I’ll email you with a coupon for a free license.

MemberHi Judit,
I’m sorry- that hu_HU file is indeed very outdated, and should not be in that linked file. We need an entirely new one. You’ll want to start over using the .pot files for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO (from the links at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/translations-getting-started/). That will give you the latest code so your translation will be up to date.
Thank you for all your work on this!

MemberHi Torbjørn,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’d love to have you update the existing Norwegian translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. Check out our Getting Started post for the files and info. Thank you!

MemberThanks Pierre! These look great. They’ll be included in an upcoming maintenance release. I will email you shortly with a coupon code to get a free license for Eventbrite Tickets or the plugin of your choice.

Leah
MemberThanks for sending that along Oliver! And yes, the new German translation should be available built into the plugin soon.
