KeymasterHi Viliam,
Thank you so much for the follow-up.
And thank you for sharing the screenshot with me. After checking the screenshot I can confirm that this is something our developers are aware of. I attached this thread to our internal tickets for these issues, so as soon as we have an update, we’ll notify you here.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience here, but thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.
Best,
Juan.

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thank you for the follow-up.
I’ve updated the code I shared with you, in order to set a priority number for that function, and that will make it work.
Please let me know how it goes.
Best,
Juan.

KeymasterHi Stephan,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I hope you’re doing well.
IP addresses are not recorded by Community Events. A lot of hosts maintain access logs and those will typically contain IP addresses, so it would be possible to marry the two up but that’s not under our control. So, perhaps, that would be a good question to ask your host.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best Regards,
Juan

KeymasterHey there,
Thanks for reaching out! I hope you are doing well.
We have a different set of product bundles, that can be found on the Bundles page. Unfortunately, there’s no bundle containing the plugins you mentioned, only. But, for sure there are others that include a couple more of our products that definitely worth taking a look.
Then, you can also purchase each plugin independently. All products can be found on the Products page.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Regards,
Juan

KeymasterHola Antonio,
Saludos,
Juan.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I hope you are doing well.
Is this happening on the single event page? Would you please send me a link to take a look at the error you are currently seeing in the console?
Thanks,
Juan.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I hope you’re doing well.
Yes, we have a plugin that does exactly what you need. Its name is “Community Events” and, installed together with The Events Calendar will give you the ability to have front-end event submission on your site.
Community Events adds an event submission form to the frontend of your website so users can add events to your calendar without needing admin access.
You can read more about Community Events by following this link.

KeymasterHey There,
Thank you for reaching out to us! And thanks for the kind words.
You can use the excerpt_length filter in order to set the number of words you’d like to have in your excerpt.
Please try adding the following code to your theme functions.php file:

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for the follow-up and sharing the screenshot with me.
Have you applied any customization on the theme? Can you also try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? It seems like your site is using the theme path instead of the plugin path for that asset.
Thanks,
Juan.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for the follow-up.
Would you please share with me the exact configuration of the .htaccess file?
What is your slug configuration for the single events template and the main events page? (Events > Settings > Single event URL slug and Events > Settings > Events URL slug). Do you have any page on the main site of the network that can be causing a conflict with these slugs?
Thanks,
Juan.

KeymasterHi Peter,
Thank you for the follow-up. That’s great, I was trying to clarify and see if we were on the same page.
Unfortunately, the QR code cannot be configured or modified via settings. However, there are chances that you could work on some type of customization via extension and make that work. The QR scan code will also have to be modified. Please have in mind that custom development tasks are outside of our stated scope of support.
Having said this, I wanted to bring up that we have a QR code scanning check-in app launching soon and if you proceed with that customization, it would be incompatible. And we are also finding ways to increase the security of QR codes.
If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I hope you’re doing well.
There’s already a way to scan QR Codes to check in attendees on the events. You may want to take a look at the article on how to use QR Codes.
With regards to your submission to UserVoice, it is highly appreciated 🙂 We try to hear our community as much as we can in order to make the best products as possible. I’d recommend you to find other users with the same need and ask them to upvote your idea.
If you urgently need help with this and it is something you require for a project, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require to create an extension.
Best,
Juan.

KeymasterHi Viliam,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I hope you’re doing well.
Are you already using the compatibility extensions: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/
Would it be possible to send me a screenshot of what is currently happening?
Best,
Juan.

KeymasterHi Peter,

Do you mean the QR Codes? It might be helpful to understand what a QR code is before beginning to use them with your tickets. You can think of QR codes as being similar to UPC barcodes in functionality, though their usage is typically a bit more complex. While barcodes are used primarily to encode simple numerical values, QR codes can contain a variety of data types, including web URLs, contact cards, and even payment information for mobile transactions. Event Tickets Plus uses QR codes to embed unique check-in URLs for each ticket in your order database; when the QR code is scanned by a site administrator or another user with sufficient permissions, the URL is accessed, and the ticket is checked in automatically.
If you need to read a full description of how QR Codes work with Events Tickets Plus, you will have to read this article, where there’s a full explanation of what QR codes are and how they work for your event.
Best,
Juan.
