    Hello Michelle,
I’m just following up on this, since it’s been over a week and we need to close out the issue. Did Paul’s solution work for you?

    Do let us know!

    Thanks!

    Hello Alex,

Sorry we haven’t been able to help you out so far. We have logged this in our back end system and developers have been looking at a solution. What I understand is that “the combo holds the venue ID. If you type it manually, you need to create somewhere that lookup to not have duplicated venues.” So there has to be code changes.

We are working on getting you an answer, or an update to our software soon. Sorry I can’t be specific about the timing, but just wanted to let you know we’re on it, even if things seem quiet on the forum here!

Hello Quartiers! I just wanted to let you know that thanks to your wonderful help we have logged this as a bug in our system and we hope to get it fixed in the next release of this plugin. Can’t guarantee the timing, but it has been escalated in our own back end system!

    Once again thank you!

    Hello Cliff,
Our team was discussing it today actually. I know it sounds quiet on our end, but in fact there is a lot of activity happening with these support requests on our back end. We get together often, communicate internally and things like this get brought up. So we are working on it! Chances are it may not be fixed in the next release, but we are having another developer look at it to see how it can be addressed.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hello Brian,
Can you confirm all the rest of the points I asked about? It will really help me a lot to be able to get in some higher level support if necessary, and to do some testing with you.

Once you have confirmed those details here on the forum, can you write me at pro /at/ tri.be referencing this forum post with a link and, if you are comfortable with it, please give me the login credentials to your site?

Please be aware we are not responsible should anything happen to your site after we log in – though I don’t plan on doing anything except looking around. However I do need you to give me written permission to do this.

Also, with that, can you please send me your Eventbrite API and a URL of the event on eventbrite that you are trying to import? I will need to test this to make sure it is not just happening on your site.

    Thanks!

Regarding your image, that is the feature image size of your theme, so you need to change that in your theme settings or CSS somehow.

    Hello Julie,

I had a look at your site, and it is all in French – so it is very hard for me troubleshoot. Are you able to change it to English for me? You can set your language in your wp-config file.

When this happens I can get higher level support to help us out.

I think you also have a good idea – I would try to deactivate and then re-activate the plugin to see if that helps. And if that doesn’t, try deleting it and re-installing it. This is very strange behaviour – I am perplexed by it 🙁

    Hi Robert,
Ok, in that case, let’s first rule out the most common possibilities that would have caused that to happen.

Can you confirm with me you’ve done all of the following? Once I know for sure I can get higher level support on this if needed:

    1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress?
    2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.8)?
    3. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
    4. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?
    5. Try setting your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks?
    6. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks (it does it automatically)?
    7. Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/?

    2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.8) and all our add-ons?
    3. Set your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks?

    Hello Thomas,

To get us started, let’s make sure you’re on the right operating environment for us to help you out. Can you confirm you’ve done all of the following for me? Often it is one of these that is the cause of most problems, and knowing you’ve taken all these steps will help us pinpoint the problem better.

    Thanks!

in reply to: Can I add a Category Menu? #23673

Hello Caroline, this can be accomplished using the inherent WordPress menus feature under “Appearance.” This is the best and most up-to-date way for creating menus.

You would simply create a menu with custom links and add labels to them, which would be the names of the categories. Then you could go into your widgets settings and drag a “custom menu” widget to your sidebar or somewhere on your site, and select the menu you just created to show up there.

    I hope this helps!
