ParticipantHey Gabe,
Thanks for following up with us!
I’ll jump in here for Geoff since he’s taking a little time off this week.
Could we try a few more things before we jump in? Since this is a matter of deleting content from your site, we’re hesitant to jump right in and do it for you manually.
Could you try following the Testing for Conflicts procedures prior to attempting to delete the events? When doing this, ensure that you have all other plugins deactivated and a default WordPress theme activated when you delete the events. This will help to ensure that there isn’t a conflict causing the delete function to not work as expected.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey roje0913,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It’s best to open a new ticket even if the issues sound similar. Many problems can have many different causes making it difficult to manage support for multiple users within the same thread. To help reduce confusion and to ensure we’re able to address your support issues directly, we request that you open a new ticket.
Thanks!

You should be able to use these functions as conditionals within your theme’s functions.php file. One thing to note, for the most part these functions are loop based. So, the functions will only return true when called within the loop.
For more detail and a possible workaround, would you mind providing a snippet for what you’re trying to accomplish?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I took a look at the site and found the Event List widget on the homepage. However, it looks like the time is loading properly for me on initial load at 12:30 https://cloudup.com/ceZbB-O6oTj.
Is it possible that the issue you’re noting above only happens when you’re logged into the site?
Let me know what you find.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Simon,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
On the surface, it looks like this should be working for you as expected. A couple of quick questions though:
- When implementing, are the other arguments for the query being applied and respected in the output such as the order, orderby, and posts_per_page?
- Do you have debugging turned on? Are there any errors being output on the page that you’re trying to implement this query?
Hopefully answers to these questions will help us in determining what is happening with this query.
Thanks!

You’re correct, the best thing to do will be to have The Events Calendar and all similar add-ons for The Events Calendar activated on both sites. You can then export the Venues, Organizers, and Events from the original site under the tools -> export tab within your WordPress dashboard.
You can then import these export files into your new site, ensuring that you import both the Venues and Organizers first before importing the events. These can be imported on the new site under the tools > import tab within your WordPress dashboard.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Sonya,
I apologize for the delay.
I tested multiple tickets on my local install and noticed the issue you’re facing where the pricing doesn’t show the range but shows the price of the last ticket created.
This currently looks like it is a bug in the plugin that we’ll need to patch. I’ll check with the team and see if there is a solid temporary solution that will help with this display.
I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.
Thanks!

No problem.

ParticipantHey Bob,
Awesome! Thanks for adding the suggestion.
Let me know how that snippet works out for you.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Andrew,
No problem!
You won’t need the Pro plugin to get the ticketing features that you describe. Additionally, all the gateways are controlled by WooCommerce and any other extensions that you would like to add specifically for WooCommerce. Our ticketing plugins will utilize all payment processing and gateways managed by WooCommerce.
One additional note from your first message that I want to clarify on since I missed it in the original response:
Need following fields, name, address, phone, email, comments (if possible)
These fields are available for each event, however this specific information (beyond what is specific to the event) can’t be added to the ticket without additional customization.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey J,
Awesome! I’m glad that was able to work for you!
On a side note, I would like to take a second to urge you once more to invest the time in getting your WordPress install in a position that it is able to updated with the latest versions. I know first hand the pain and frustration that comes from having one of your sites hacked and having outdated versions of WordPress core is the main source of vulnerability. Sometimes it’s easier to bite the bullet now on your own terms rather than being caught completely off guard by an attack that could possibly cause you to lose everything at someone else’s whim.
Just a friendly warning from someone who has experienced this in the past 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
Josh

ParticipantHey Rob,
Thanks for reaching out!
In the future it’s best to open a new thread even if an existing thread seems similar. Since some issues may have many different causes, keeping things in separate threads allows for the answers to be organized and reduces the confusion when trying to address each customer’s issue.
That being said, I’m glad you were able to get your issue resolved!
Greg,
Its been a few weeks since we’ve heard from you. We like to close tickets after a couple of weeks. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new ticket.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey deb,

Our Tickets plugins inherit all of the payment processing functionalities offered by the main plugin that you would like to be the Tickets add-on for. For example, our most popular is WooCommerce Tickets and all the payment processing and cart functionality is completely managed by WooCommerce.
That being said, I’m not aware of any on-site, card reading capabilities built for WooCommerce. A quick search turned up a couple of links that could be helpful to you:

ParticipantHey Craig,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The best and simplest thing to do would be to take advantage of WordPress’ built in Export feature to export all of the “Venues”, “Organizers” & “Events” from your website. You can find this from your WordPress dashboard at Tools > Export.
In case something does happen, you can take these export files and upload them back to your site (Venues & Organizers first).
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
