ParticipantHello…
I’ve set up two events on our site using the Events Calendar. I have also set up WooCommerce to allow purchase to these events. This used to work. But now (and I don’t know why) the events do not offer a “add to cart” option.
Here’s the link to the events page of our site:
http://drdonnawaddell.com/?post_type=tribe_eventsLike I said, this was working just fine. I don’t know if there was an update that would have broken this. I’ve tried the trouble shooting options (changing themes, turing off events, etc) these all produce the same error.
Help, I don’t know what to do.
Many thanks

Participantps, I did add a coupon code on 1/7/15. Thought that might be the problem. I deleted the coupon codes and still have the same problem.

ParticipantNow, the costs of my events has disappeared after having reverted back to WP 4.0.1. I then restored to the latest version of WP and now there is html code showing up in the display areas. ARRRCGHHH!
I don’t know how this happened. I’ve made no changes to the site. The last time I was in there, everything was working fine.
Help,

ParticipantHey Greg,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Looks like you’re from a very beautiful part of Georgia! My wife and I have been talking about moving up toward the Jasper/Ellijay area for a couple of months now.
I apologize for the issues you’re having with using our plugin. Hopefully we can get the sorted out for you quickly.
Looking at your site I wasn’t able to see any instances of html code being output into an event, if this is still an issue can you send me a link to an event with the html being output?
Overall, it looks like all of the information associated with the WooCommerce Tickets plugin is missing from the page. There are a couple of things that may be causing the issue:
- Can you verify that the WooCommerce Tickets plugin is still activated on the site? If so, can you verify that it is also at the same version of the plugin as The Events Calendar (latest version is 3.9).
- Have you tested with a default WordPress theme? There could be some old template files within a “tribe-events” folder of your theme that may not have the necessary hooks for the ticket information to be hooked to.
- Ensure that there isn’t a sale start and end date on the tickets. If there is, and the start date hasn’t come, the ticket information won’t display on the event page.
- Finally, you mentioned that you deactivated some plugins and switched themes, can you verify that you’ve followed the complete Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict at the root of the issue.
I apologize again for the issues you’re experiencing. Hopefully these suggestions will help to get you pointed in the right direction. Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
Thanks for the reply.
The HTML showing on the events is no longer an issue. I discovered over the weekend that this was related to the new version of the CUSTOMIZR theme. I reverted to the previous version of the theme and this problem went away. This is a workaround, of course. It would be nice to have that resolved. I am unsure of how to get that rolling.
I checked my plugins. I have both The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets (3.9) plugin as well as Woo Commerce loaded. Do they conflict with each other?
I switched to a default WP theme and discovered the following: I have a page called “Upcoming events” in the main navigation. While I am in the default WP theme, none of the two events we have scheduled appear. However, when I switch back to the Cutomizr theme, they reappear. Albeit with no price next to them. When you click on one of the event headings to take you to the Event page, you’ll see a big button that I’ve added to take you to the product purchase page. I did this over the weekend as a work around until we can get this fixed.
I don’t see where a start and end date can be established for a product.
I have tried deactiving all plugins and still have problems.
I have these three plugins added:
The Events Calendar:
The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets
WooCommerce
Do the above conflict with each other? One more very important point: This disfunction seemed to come on by its own. It was only after I checked the site after a WordPress auto update that I noticed these problems. It was working fine for several weeks.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

ParticipantHey Greg,
Thanks for following up with us!
This definitely seems like a strange issue. You said when you switched to a default theme some of your events weren’t showing up?
WooCommerce is needed for our WooCommerce Tickets to work so there shouldn’t be any conflict there.
You can find the location where start and end dates are added by going to the edit screen for the event and checking the “Tickets” section there. You’ll see the options just below the Price field https://cloudup.com/cr2vZwqTWYS.
Finally, when testing for conflicts did you deactivate all the plugins at the same time as switching to a default theme? Also, do you have a caching plugin in place? If so, disable and purge the cache prior to deactivating that plugin to see if that helps.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHaving the same issue with my site http://urbankick.com
None of my ticketing works for any event. My shop for clothing works fine.
I’ve made no additions to site plugins, etc. Only updates to latest versions of themes & plugins.
One note: ticketing DOES work on my staging site: http://urbankick.staging.wpengine.com
The only difference is that the staging doesn’t have SSL certificate.
**Hopefully that’s a huge clue. I need this fixed asap. We’re missing out on sales.February 3, 2015 at 7:41 pm #939858Rob Balucas
Participantupdate: it had to do with cache-clearing and renaming the “Events URL slug” from calendar to events.
I’ve solved the problem for me.February 4, 2015 at 7:39 pm #940122Josh
ParticipantHey Rob,
Thanks for reaching out!
In the future it’s best to open a new thread even if an existing thread seems similar. Since some issues may have many different causes, keeping things in separate threads allows for the answers to be organized and reduces the confusion when trying to address each customer’s issue.
That being said, I’m glad you were able to get your issue resolved!
Greg,
Its been a few weeks since we’ve heard from you. We like to close tickets after a couple of weeks. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new ticket.
Thanks!
