KeymasterHi Jonah,
I’m not sure what’s going on with your website โ that’s a weird behavior. Did you try to contact WPML’s support? It may have something to do with multilingual WordPress Custom Post Type Archives, and they might have a solution for this.
Did you try deactivating all other plugins (except for the Events Calendar ones)? Did you have the same problem?
Did you also try to switch to a default theme such as TwentySeventeen? And still the same issue?
In WPML > Translation Options, did you click on “Translate custom posts slugs (via WPML String Translation).“?
Still in WPML > Translation Options, did you click “Use different slugs in different languages for Events. “?
Have a nice day,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi Ryan,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you ๐
Could you provide me an URL where the problem happens?
You said you updated the plugins, but did you update them to their most recent version? On your System Information, it says that you have The Events Calendar PRO version 4.4.20, whereas the newest version is 4.4.26. Same with The Events Calendar, where it seems you have 4.6.9 instead of 4.6.16.
Also, is your Enfold theme up to date?
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi Tim,
No worries, and let me know if ever a problem happens after you’ve downgraded to the older version.

KeymasterHi Michelle,
To modify the output of the shortcode, youโll want to use the methods described here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
You’ll find the template for the [tribe_events_list] shortcode in wp-content/plugins/eventscalendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/lisy-widget.php. You might want to modify eventscalendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php as well.
You can also send optional details via the shortcode. You’ll find the full list on this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
I hope this helps,
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi Kevin,
That might be a problem with your theme. Do you have an example of a page where you see that problem?

KeymasterHi Michelle,
Could you show me through a test page how the shortcode renders on your website? Maybe we could fix your display problem via css?
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi Kevin,
Sorry for the late reply. I’m glad you managed to make it work again!
Do you still need assistance or may I close this thread?

KeymasterHi Indy,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The problem you mention is a recent bug we are aware of, linked with the latest update of Events Calendar PRO. I’ll mark this thread as “Pending fix”, so we could warn you as soon as the issue is solved.
In the mean-time, if you need that functionality, you may downgrade Events Calendar PRO to version 4.4.25.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I can’t give you a timeframe now but rest assured we’ll do our best to solve that issue as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your patience and comprehension,
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy

There might be a conflict in your website. But before going through the whole process of testing for conflict, could you upgrade The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO to their latest versions? (4.6.16 and 4.4.26 respectively). That might solve your problem.
Please let me know how it goes,
Cheers,

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I would be happy to help you.
If you are on the Month view, then the filters are based on the current month displayed, indeed. That’s normal though โ it wouldn’t make much sense otherwise, as we would need to display multiple calendars (people can still filter through the different months).
If you were talking about the List view, the Upcoming Events normally are not only based on the current month. Maybe there’s a bug with a filter in particular โ could you tell which request didn’t return events from upcoming months?
Thanks in advance,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi Jane,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you.
Well, it’s actually not possible to add multiple categories in the shortcode. However, you could create a parent category regrouping your categories 2, 3, 4 & 5. Then, in the shortcode, you’ll call your parent category.
I hope this will help,
Cheers,

It’s a little bit strange indeed. which plugin do you use to make this website multilingual? WPML or another one?
I noticed the month view in German is here: https://unifiedthomas.staging.wpengine.com/de/calendar/month/. However, it seems that, when you click on “Monat”, your website is trying to find a page called “https://unifiedthomas.staging.wpengine.com/de/calendar/monat/”, which doesn’t exist. So it goes back to the default /calendar page.
For the German version of your website, try to change the slug of “month” in “monat”, maybe that would help.
Let me know how it goes,
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Anastasia,
Would it be possible for you to create a new copy of your website, on a subdomain such as new.druziatesta.ru?ย A staging website would help me understand better what’s happening with your website, especially if I could access the back-office (we don’t access production websites’ back-offices).
Thanks in advance ๐

Because ThemePunch is a third-party developer with no affiliation with Modern Tribe or The Events Calendar, we do not offer support for any ThemePunch products, nor do we have or advertise any โofficialโ integration with them.
That being said, you may find in our Knowledgebase some useful resources about how to integrate The Events Calendar with Essential Grid.
As you are using Events Calendar PRO, you can probably use our [tribe_event_inline] shortcode.
Using this shortcode, hereโs an example of what you might enter onto an Essential Grid:
[tribe_event_inline id=%post_id%] Time: {start_date} @ {start_time} โ {end_date} @ {end_time} [/tribe_event_inline]You’ll find here all the variables you could use in that shortcode, which should help you display past events in a certain category.
I hope this helps,
Cheers,
