January 14, 2017 at 8:29 pm in reply to: additional fields with EDD not appearing and getting error, buying works fine #1218706George
ParticipantSorry to hear about this, @atmedia—we love EDD and if there’s indeed an error here, we’ll work quick to fix it.
In testing on my local site, I’m not running into this error. I notice in your site’s “system information”—thanks for sharing this info, by the way!—you’re using version 4.3.5 of The Events Calendar…if you update to the most recent version, 4.4.0.1, does anything improve with the error message you report?
Let us know!
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantGlad to hear about the progress here, Tristan—thanks for letting us know!

ParticipantHey Julie,
Thanks for reaching out!
Creating a .dev domain name, or creating a staging/dev site in general, is indeed a little tricky and takes some practice. It’s unfortunately something far outside the scope of support we can provide here, though. 🙁 We can only provide support directly related to how our plugins work and function—learn more about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
Here are two resources I found online that may be helpful for you:
• https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/getting-started/setting-up-a-development-environment/There are also apps you can use that make it much easier. Here are two apps widely used by us here on The Events Calendar support and development teams:
• https://www.apachefriends.org/index.htmlExplore the options above and search online for more information and resources on this—I hope you make progress on building a dev site!
If you have other questions or concerns, feel free to open a new thread any time! 😀

ParticipantHey Csaba!
Thanks for reaching out—there’s unfortunately not any “out-of-the-box” way to make a private calendar.
There are some ways to get close to it, though. We’ve covered the available methods in this Knowledgebase guide ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/
Let us know if that guide is helpful!
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi there,
Thank you for reaching out. These forums here are our “Pre-sales Questions” forums, so we unfortunately cannot field technical support questions here.
It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!
However, in that case please log into the account on this site that has your premium license, and then post this question in a premium support forum.
If you indeed do not have a premium license, then please post your question in our free support forums here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar
We check those forums a bit more than once per week. I will close this thread to facilitate your posting in one of the above forums.
Before closing this thread, to answer your question in a general sense, this is not possible out-of-the-box and would require custom coding. 🙁
I would recommend learning about the WordPress function get_posts() — you can use it to query for the post type ‘tribe_organizers’, which is the “Organizer” post type on The Events Calendar events. You can sort your results a number of ways with get_posts() and should be able to achieve your desired result with some tinkering. Learn more about get_posts() here ? https://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/get_posts
Thank you,
GeorgeJanuary 13, 2017 at 11:54 am in reply to: Is it possible to important from another 'The Events Calendar' Calendar? #1218263George
ParticipantHey Eric,
Thanks for reaching out.
ICS is the primary method, though as you mention it has its limitations.
The WordPress XML import/export tools, while not automatic, include all event data and may be helpful for your needs. We have a guide about using those for events here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-wordpress-export-tools-to-migrate-events-content
Let me know if this helps! If those tools aren’t what you’re looking for then the best thing alternative to that would be to get a CSV-export plugin from WordPress.org (there are many—we don’t recommend a specific one, just search for one with high ratings). You can then export events into CSV, then import them on the other site with The Events Calendar’s built-in CSV importers. You can read about the CSV import methods here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-the-events-calendars-csv-importer/
Please let me know if this information helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantJust as a general note, Miquel, I want to confirm that I have seen the issues you reported in this other thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ayuda-con-la-version-pro-y-el-plugin-idiomas-wplm-repeticion-de-eventos/
↑ Let me know if the guides I recommended above help at all with the issues in the other thread you posted!
January 13, 2017 at 11:51 am in reply to: Ayuda con La version Pro y el plugin idiomas WPLM – repeticion de eventos! #1218258George
ParticipantHi Miquel,
You have posted a new thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/repeated-recurring-events-horrible-with-translations-a-fucking-plugin/
To keep things simple and to help us help you, let’s keep the conversation in just one thread, the one above.
I have asked questions in the above thread, so please reply in the above thread and we can continue the conversation there.
Thank you,
GeorgeJanuary 13, 2017 at 11:49 am in reply to: Repeated recurring events! Horrible with translations. #1218257George
ParticipantHi Miquel,
I am very sorry for all of the trouble with our plugins. I can confirm that our WPML support is not completed, especially for our ticketing plugins.
When it comes to The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, we have made extensive investments in trying to improve the compatibility of these plugins. The basic calendar features like recurring events should work with WPML.
Please note that these guides cover how to use WPML with our plugins specifically:
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/↑ If you are using any method of integration between The Events Calendar/Events Calendar Pro and WPML other than the specific methods described in the above two articles, then you will have issues and they will not work very well together.
I would recommend confirming you are using the exact configurations recommended in those guides. If you are not, then try using those configurations and see if anything improves.
If nothing improves, please note that I would be happy to process a refund for you and am very sorry for the trouble you’ve had with our plugins. You can request a refund any time here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Thank you for reaching out, please let me know what you think and what other questions I can try to help with and address here.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Thomas,
I’m sorry to hear about this! I took a closer look and have confirmed this is a bug — I have logged a bug ticket and our developers will work on a fix for this.
I do not have a specific ETA for the arrival of a fix for this bug. It will probably be at least three or four weeks before a fix arrives, but I can confirm that I will update this thread with news of the fix no matter how far into the future that date is.
If there are no updates to this thread, there is no news about the fix; if there is news, however, I will update this thread.
Sorry for the trouble here—stay tuned!
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime.

January 13, 2017 at 11:09 am in reply to: Looking to hire developer experienced in Events Calendar #1218237George
ParticipantThanks for reaching out, Kathy!
We ourselves are not available for this sort of work, and our forums cannot be used to solicit this type of work, so I will close this thread.
But we do have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1
We have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one, and many of these folks have done some extensive work with our plugins in the past so there are some great options there.
If this specific list is not helpful, there are many job boards online for WordPress customizations specifically—jobs.wordpress.net is a great example.
Best of luck with your customizations!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks Jennifer! Keep us posted! 😀
January 13, 2017 at 10:46 am in reply to: Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. #1218221George
ParticipantHey Paul,
It sounds like you’ve been able to roll back one site to the previous versions, and your other site you’re just waiting for our published fix for this error to arrive…a smart move on both accounts, and I’m glad to hear you’ve got some temporary stability with your sites for now.
Really sorry for the trouble here. Stay tuned to this thread for updates about the fix!

January 13, 2017 at 10:26 am in reply to: The Events Calendar 4.4.0.1 crashes the whole wordpress site (HTTP ERROR 500) #1218206George
ParticipantIndeed, Dave—the Windows pattern has emerged super clearly. Our developers are still actively working on this, and some progress is being made here.
Stay tuned!
