ParticipantThank you for this information. I have a few specific steps that I would recommend from here:
1. Community Events is not showing up in the “plugins” list in your system information. This would mean it is not installed on your site. Did you remove Community Events because of the issues it seems to have caused?
2. I would recommend that you install Community Events on your site anew. Then, head to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);Once you edit wp-config.php, try activating the Community Events plugin. There should be error text on the white screen when your site crashes – if so, please share this entire message here with us.
3. If after step #2 there is still no error text showing up, and just a blank white screen, then what I would recommend is contacting your web host about this issue. You describe getting a different kind of 500 server error than what our plugin would normally cause; there are no reports of this from other users; and I cannot recreate this issue at all 🙁 So if step #2 reveals no error text, then contact your web host and explain this issue in detail. See if they can investigate server logs, or if they can see the specific error responsible for the server crash.
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks for the update, Robert, I’m glad some progress has been made here. I admit that I don’t know why the CSS was not showing up before – I’m sorry about the lack of resolution on that specific issue!
Is there anything else I can try to help with? If not I can close this thread for now – just wanted to check.
Thank you,

ParticipantGlad to hear it Jamie; apologies for some of the less-than-ideal news here on this topic but I hope it helps.
I’ll close up this thread for now – but open a new thread any time if we can help with anything else!
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Allison,
Sure thing, we can issue a refund for sure. Check out the process here to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

ParticipantRight on – it’s not a 100% completion of your goals, but should hopefully be a bit of scaffolding you can take and tinker with, and build upon.
Cheers,

ParticipantHey @josearistud, really sorry for the delay here! I’m trying to see if I can write up a bit of code to fix this for you. Sorry for not updating earlier.
I appreciate your patience with this and will post an update as soon as I have something to help the issue here.
Thank you!

January 26, 2016 at 10:42 am in reply to: events calendar pro photo view – RTL isotope items #1062632George
ParticipantHey Ofer,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your interest in our plugins!
In terms of making the Photo View RTL, our plugin should work fine in terms of the actual text being translated correctly. We do try to test with RTL translations as much as we can.
It sounds like you mean something other than just the literal text translation – is this correct? In other words, it sounds like you mean layout adjustments too. While layout adjustments can be made, we don’t have features within the plugin that allow you to make the adjustments on-the-fly. You would need to custom-code layout adjustments.
Can you elaborate a bit more on exactly what you mean? I’ll address any extra details you can provide here.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey @DeAnne,
I’m really sorry to see this! I don’t see this problem on my own site and there is no known fatal error with our plugins, so I would recommend seeing if any errors pop up on your site if you head to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:
define('WP_DEBUG', true); That will display PHP errors if any exist, which might be quite useful here.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey @Joseph,
Thanks for reaching out! This is an interesting question, but unfortunately our plugins do not enable this at this time 🙁
The application of taxes to the order and such is generally something that WooCommerce handles – adding integration with this into our plugins is actually a great idea, and if we don’t have a development ticket for this on the map, I will make one.
It would unfortunately be quite a complex feature to fully integrate with WooCommerce, and so even if this is something that could eventually make it into the plugin, the timeline for that to arrive is in the many-months range at best.
I’m sorry about this disappointing news, @Joseph. If you need these features more urgently than we could conceivably provide them, you might find it useful to hire a developer to build these features for you. We are not available for hire on such projects ourselves, but we maintain a list of some really well-respected developers in the community here → http://m.tri.be/18k1
We have no affiliation or financial partnership with those folks, we’ve just gotten asked for recommendations so often that we collected some of the best ones we know of in that central list.
Let me know what you think of all of this and if I can help with anything else!
Thanks,
George -
