ParticipantThanks for this, Matt! I checked the license key in the screenshot and this is actually an Event Tickets Plus license key, not an Events Calendar Pro license key.
You cannot use a license of one product for another, and so to solve this problem and use Events Calendar Pro on your site you would need to buy a separate license key for Events Calendar Pro
Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

ParticipantHi Donald,
I am sorry about the length of time between responses. I’ve been trying to notice any issues with the scheduled imports on my testing site, but have not seen any such issues.
This PHP error you report is one I have not seen reported before, so I am going to bring this issue to our development team and see if they have any insight into why this error might be arising.
Stay tuned!

ParticipantThanks for this update, and for sharing your solution! I’m glad you were able to resolve the Fatal Error.
Since the fatal error is resolved, I’ll close this thread; but please feel free to open a new thread any time if other issues or questions arise!

ParticipantHey Amiel,
It does indeed sound like further PHP code customizing is required. This is unfortunately something we are not able to help with, as elaborated upon here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
We are not able to help with modifying the look or behavior of our plugins, as elaborated upon in the article above (please read that article).
So to implement any sort of custom features like you want here, you would have to write that custom code yourself or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
I am sorry if you were hoping we could write custom code for you, but I hope this information helps you proceed with your issues nonetheless.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @Martin,
Thanks for reaching out. We unfortunately do not maintain any such lists. 🙁
Our free plugins have public-facing GitHub repos, which may be helpful; you can find those here:
• The Events Calendar → github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar
• Event Tickets → github.com/moderntribe/event-ticketsAnd so on…
The full course of development is logged in those repos, and so you can see every single file change over time…
…there is no equivalent of this for our premium add-ons, though.
The best thing we can recommend here is to have a “staging” or “dev” version of your website on which you can test updates and see if there are any breaking changes for your customizations — if not, then you can perform the updates on the “real” site without issue. If there are, then you can fix your customizations first, then roll those changes out to the “real” site and update the plugins there without issue, etc…
I’m sorry to disappoint on the main point, but hope some of this information is helpful nonetheless.
Cheers!

ParticipantHey there,
This is mainly resulting from the number of columns you have for the list view, and the length of text for each of these columns.
Try removing columns from your view to make room for the other columns to “stretch out” and look normal. You can do this in the “Screen Options” tab when viewing that page. Learn more about Screen Options here if you’re not familiar: https://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Screens#Screen_Options
Cheers!

ParticipantIt is a native feature — it will work “out of the box” without adding custom code.
But please note this is ONLY for fields added per the specific instructions here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/
Any other type of “custom field” will require custom coding.

ParticipantHi Jack,
You should be able to do this without writing any custom code. Try using a free Extension we offer which adds settings to easily relable these terms → https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/the-events-calendar-extension-relabeler/
I hope that helps!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @Guilherme,
Unfortunately there’s no way to add custom fields to the Filter Bar except for fields that explicitly added using Events Calendar Pro’s “Additional Fields” features, which you can read about there: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/
↑ Those fields will show up in the Filter Bar.
Any other type of custom field will not. 🙁 Sorry to disappoint on that fact. Please let me know if this information helps you move forward with your project and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Matt,
Thanks for reaching out. You cannot add licenses to sites from your http://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys page — license keys only show up there if they’re activated from within the wp-admin of a site on which you’re actually using the licensed product.
So that’s the main issue to focus on here, and I’m happy to try and work towards a resolution of those issues here.
- Can you share screenshots of the error that pops up in the wp-admin settings section when you try entering your license key? You’ve shared the error message itself here of course, which is helpful, but the screenshot will show more context which may help me diagnose the issues. You can do so by uploading the screenshots to this thread. If you have issues with that, you can upload to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
- Does this issue happen on only one website? Or does it happen on any website on which you try activating the license key?
Thanks!

ParticipantOur plugins are unfortunately not built to work with that system. If folks “buy” tickets in the checkout process like normal, and the “WooCredits” system is thus basically like a “payment gateway”, then it may work fine, but we unfortunately are not able to verify this because we have not tested with that Extension.
I would recommend contacting the makers of the WooCredits extension directly for further insight.
And please do keep in mind our no-questions-asked 30 day refund policy; with this in mind, you could try out our ticketing products on your site for real, see how things work, and if it doesn’t work, just request a refund any time in those first 30 days after purchase on this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Please let me know if this information helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

ParticipantHi Bruno,
Thanks for reaching out.
Our plugins provide some of the features you list here, but there are specific features they do not provide. Those features are as follows:
d. Early bird price (rules to allow changing price dinamically by date ou qtty sold)
h. Ticket receipt appearance per event and ticket type
a. Ability to create and change form per event and per ticket type
b. Integrate attendees with event app
d. Users profile (Management, Event planners, marketers, third parties)
Next, there are two bigger things are plugins do not provide. First is the stuff you mention here:
4. Checkout
a. 3 payment methods
i. Online (stripe, pay pal)
ii. Pay at the door
iii. Wire transfer (Portuguese: transferência bancária)
iv. Check (Portuguese: boleto bancário)
b. Send ticket receipt with QR codeWhile our plugins do send tickets with QR codes, the actual checkout and payment processes are not done by our products — these are all handled by WooCommerce, and so you would have to use different WooCommerce plugins, for example.
Next is the set of features you mention here:
6. Marketing and sales tools
a. Affiliate links
b. Promo codes per ticket type
c. Vouchers
d. Ability to offer instant promo codes for buyers after purchase, so them can share promo
codes with colleagues through email or social networks. Our plugins don’t provide any of these features — you can use WooCommerce coupon codes, of course, but everything else is not something our plugins provide.
Sorry to disappoint on a number of these things, but I wanted to cover your items in detail. Let me know what you think and if there’s anything else I can help with.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Sherry,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear about these issues!
We cannot provide technical support here in our free “Pre-Sales Questions”, so the first thing to do here is to get your account issues sorted out so that you can log in and post your support questions to a premium forum here on http://theeventscalendar.com
To do this, please copy the full text of the iCal Importer license key that is in your wp-admin, and paste that license key into an email to this email address:
support at theeventscalendar.comWe can use that license key to look up your account information and help from there, though that discussion must proceed over email because it’s dealing with private information.
See you over email!

ParticipantHey there!
We make and sell WordPress plugins — we don’t actually sell any tickets to events here.
Please contact the event organizers for assistance with your tickets with that event — it sounds like you can find that event on eventbrite.com, for example.
Best of luck with your tickets!
