MemberGood evening Craig and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and reporting that deprecated function.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you have encountered while trying to use Community Events alongside WPML. I would love to help you with this topic.
With that in mind, please note that officially, Community Events is not yet compatible with WPML, as you can see here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
That being said, I will open a ticket based on your findings and hopefully that will bring us one step closer to compatibility.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Let me know if you want me to pitch in with some CSS finishing touches.

MemberHey David,
Thank you for writing back.
I am glad the CSS helped.
For the URL issue, although I totally get what you are saying, moving things to the left more would probably make it look not so good.
So there are a couple of ideas I would want to run by you:
- You could use a URL shortener on those extra-long URLs
- You could give the following CSS a shot to see if that works for you
.tribe-events-event-meta .tribe-events-meta-group .url {
clear: both;
padding-top: 12px;
}Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberDear John,
Thank you for the files.
I am noticing that you sent me version 1.6.6 of Eventica.
I have good reason to believe that you might be using a more recent version (since the recurring event details were released in version 1.7.0).In any case, I would recommend updating to version 1.10 of Eventica (if you have not already).
Once that is done, could you send me that latest version if the issue persists ?Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Darren,
Actually, the issue is that the key is not used all Google Maps API calls, only certain ones.
When the key is not used, the ip is used as a default, hence the problem.
Typically, that is something that, even though it is less than ideal, can be worked around.
In your case, short of getting a dedicated IP, a VPS or changing web hosts, I unfortunately have no other solution to offer. With that in mind, I did ask the Dev team if a snippet was possible for the “fix venue geolocation” button.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Ron,
I am sorry my last response was not more useful to you.
Thank you for checking straight into the tables.
However, in spite of that, according to the system info there is still some trace of this URL discrepancy somewhere. As stated before, a fix is being looked at so that things can work in spite of that.
In the meantime, if we are unable to locate the non-matching URLs, the only solution left would be to downgrade the plugins unfortunately (I believe just prior to 4.3 should cut it): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Rob,
Thank you for writing back.
Upon looking at your system information, I am noticing a couple of things:
- Please deactivate Event Rocket. This plugin is known to break since the Events Calendar 4. Many of its functionalities are now part of our plugin’s code.
- I am noticing that you are using an older version of PHP. I would highly recommend upgrading to at least 5.4+ (in fact WordPress recommends 5.6+ – but 5.4 will do the trick for now).
The issue is that if I install the new version and it doesn’t work, it destroys the database and then it take my IT company 4-6 hours to rebuild the database from old backups.
I see your point. Actually, the new version will not destroy or delete the database.
If it does not work, you can simply revert back to the old version of the plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/In other words, it is quick to fix if anything (without going back to a previous database Backup).
As a precaution, I recommend you turn on a “Maintenance Page” plugin while doing that.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Shaun,
I wish I could access your site to see for myself, but I think it is still in development.
With that in mind, I do have a copy of Jupiter 5.3, so I went ahead and ran a few tests.
I believe, you can get the result you are looking for by going to Events -> Settings -> Display and changing the Events template setting to Default Page template.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Deiren,
Thank you for writing back and for the system information.
The first thing I am noticing is that you are a few versions behind with the Community Events and the Events Calendar Pro plugins.
You are currently at version 4.2.4 for Community Events, I would recommend updating to 4.3.1
You are currently at version 4.2.5 for the Events Calendar Pro, I would recommend updating to 4.3.3The reason for this is that non-matching version tend to create issues.
Furthermore, I am also noticing that you are using an older version of PHP.
I highly recommend upgrading to 5.4+ (in fact WordPress recommends 5.6+ – but 5.4+ should be fine for now).If the problem still persists we will take this a step further.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
