MemberGood afternoon John and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the text not displaying to your liking when the Events Calendar Pro is activated. I would love to help you with this topic.
What is going on is that the Eventica or Eventica child theme has a customization that displays all the recurrence rules for an event in the Meta section of the event (/wp-content/themes/eventica-wp/tribe-events/modules/meta/details.php).
If you click on “Edit Event”, and go to the recurrence rules, you will notice that the text there is exactly the same as on the front-end.
We can handle this 2 ways:
- Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made. - You could edit those files and remove the unwanted section yourself.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberDear John,
Thank you for the files.
I am noticing that you sent me version 1.6.6 of Eventica.
I have good reason to believe that you might be using a more recent version (since the recurring event details were released in version 1.7.0).In any case, I would recommend updating to version 1.10 of Eventica (if you have not already).
Once that is done, could you send me that latest version if the issue persists ?Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon John,
The simplest solution is to remove the code completely in your child theme.
Here is a copy of your child theme without the recurring event text: eventica-wp-child
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantDear Geoff,
By replacing the child theme it now only says ‘recurring date: (See all)’. So, no summary or anything. For now, this works for me fine. Thanks very much. Have a nice day.(next thing is to change ‘time’, ‘date’, ‘recurring date’ etc.. into Dutch, but that’s for another time)

MemberHey John,
I am glad the revised version of the child theme helped.
What is going on is that the recurrence days are not going through the language filter when displayed on the front-end.
You might want to get in touch with the good folks from Eventica to see what they would recommend.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!
