Good afternoon Merijn and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Would you mind providing with a specific example URL where this is the case ?

Based on your description this is very similar to the “All posts (display translation if it exists or posts in default language otherwise).” setting.

The other things worth trying out are:

    1. Temporarily deactivating and clearing WP super cache
    2. Re-saving your permalinks
    3. Clearing WPML’s cache: head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page. Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend: clearing WPML cache and using the button that forces language assignment to items (which is what is creating the issue). This can also be accomplished by deactivating and reactivating WPML.
    4. Adjusting translate link targets using the button found at the bottom of the WPML > Translation Management > Multilingual content setup tab

    Hang in there!

    Good afternoon Jonas,

Awesome. I am glad that helped.

One last thing you should know is that it is also possible to use tickets:

    1. With a page or a post – in other words independently from an event
    2. As a WooCommerce product – In other words, you could display that product, just as you would any WooCommerce product. This does not impact the relationship that the ticket has with an event, a page or a post.

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great weekend!

    Good afternoon Jonas,

    Thank you for writing back.

Here is an overview of how an event containing an Event Tickets Plus ticket is structured:

    1. There is a post under the “Events” tab. This contains the event info, the ticket and additional attendee info (if any)
    2. There is a also a WooCommerce product under the “Products” tab. That product is not an event, but simply a ticket. It is linked to the Event post automatically.

Another way to look at this is that WooCommerce only handles the transactional part (cart, cost, order status, payment, stock, etc…). Just like it would any other product.

In other words, the mastermind is the event post itself.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Leonie,

I am glad we are still making progress.

the text still doesn’t look good. Before it was shown in a specific colored text field. Can we change this back somehow?

I would recommend contacting the good folks from the Eventica theme to make sure these changes are fixed as part of their theme maintenance releases.

The reason I am bringing this up is because that display is part of customizations they made to our plugin’s views.

Moreover, in the top left of the image where the date is shown, there used to be a pink colored field below that to make it more visible. Now there is still a small piece of that pink field visible, but it doesn’t cover the date any more. Can we fix this as well?

This could totally be addressed by them too.

In the meantime, try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-date {
    min-height: 120px;
    }

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Jason and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are correct, there are snippets out there to reorder the tickets in any given event (alphabetically being one of them).

However, I believe the simplest solution is to use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/intuitive-custom-post-order/

As long as you make the “Products” sortable, you can simply drag and drop the tickets in the correct sequence when you head to [your-site]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Roland and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

The short answer is no. At the time of writing, we do not support variable products.
    Only WooCommerce simple products.

However, there is nothing preventing you from having several tickets for one event (each ticket containing different options and a different price).

Another idea would be to use some kind of WooCommerce up-selling plugin which you would tie to your products. Typically, that would offer the option of additional options at the Cart stage.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Yes, Event Tickets Plus does create a simple virtual product in WooCommerce with catalog visibility set to hidden by default.

Some of the tickets data (e.g.: additional attendee info) is not stored in WooCommerce however.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
