August 29, 2017 at 10:35 pm in reply to: Calendar View/Color Categories/ Can I establish a filter by color and name only? #1342185Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Marek,
Thank you for writing back.
will we be able to embed single category calendars on specific pages of our website. For example, on main calendar we have 3 categories – Athletics, School and Alumni Events. Can I have just have an Athletics Events Calendar on our Athletics page?
You actually do not need filter bar for that.
You can achieve that with the Events Calendar Pro’s shortcodes:- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
Or even more detail, can sub-categories under Athetics, ie – Baseball, Soccer, etc. become separate calendars and posted on their own pages?
Yes they can, it’s all a question of selecting the right category in the shortcode and having the proper Event category hierarchy.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Steve and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing.
I would love to help you with this topic.By the sound of it this is a matter of configuration.
I am not exactly sure how you are implementing domain mapping.Could you expand on how that is done on your end ?
In the meantime, the 2 most thorough examples of related issues in the forums are (in case you did not already bumped into them):
- https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/no-googlemaps-no-change-between-displaying-as-list-month-etc-possible/
Hang in there!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. On my end the prices display perfectly.
But if you want to, you can increase the allocated space with CSS.Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
#tribe-events-content table.tribe-events-tickets .tickets_price {
min-width: 100px !important;
}Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Gayla and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Do you have a plug-in upgrade that will allow me to easily input recurring events, without having to pay for the full Pro version?
Alas no. The only way to get access to the recurring events is with the Events Calendar Pro (which also offers many other cool features).
We do have a nonprofit program, but unless the magazine has some type of social goal, I am not sure this would qualify: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are correct, events and tickets are actually 2 distinct post types.
Your best bet would be to use some sort of Macro. In other words, you still export the 2 files separately, but you will then use some Macro or script to automatically combine these 2 in the desired format in a third file.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Doron,
First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual. Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.Alas, we are not able to provide real-time support for now.
We can only offer support through our forums. We are absolutely eager to help, however in your specific case, we would simply need some type of access to a staging environment.
It sounds like the live link is the right idea, but you need to make sure your computer stays on.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Ryan and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the message you are getting on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.I highly recommend reading and using the following guides if you have not already:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
Secondly, I am noticing that you are a few version behind on both the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro. I would recommend upgrading to the latest version since you are using the latest version of WPML as well.
Finally, in case you did not know, there is no official support for WPML with Community events yet. The good news is that you can get it to “work”: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/automatically-duplicating-added-event-calandar-items-on-publish-with-wpml/
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
