    Hello @EUHSD,

Great question! We actually only accept two payment methods in our checkout process: credit cards and PayPal.

Let me know if you have any other questions or issues making a purchase and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

    Cheers!

    Hey Keith,

    Thanks for writing in!

Yes, Event Aggregator is much more automated than iCal Importer. In fact, we expect that it will replace iCal Importer in good time and become our sole solution for importing events from a variety of sources.

In this case, Event Aggregator does import event from Google Calendar and it does so on an automated, scheduled basis.

Here’s a screenshot of what you can expect when importing from Google Calendar. Note that you can specify how frequently Event Aggregator checks for new events up to hourly.

I also want to note that Event Aggregator is already packaged in The Events Calendar. In other words, all you need to do is purchase a license and enter it on the Events > Settings > Licenses screen to activate it — no additional plugins or software is need to get it going. 🙂

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know!

    Hi Sarah,

So sorry for the trouble here paying for your license renewal with PayPal!

Oddly enough, it seems like we are receiving payments from other orders where PayPal was used as the payment method. I checked our order log and see orders that have come in as of this morning where PayPal was accepted.

I see that you attempted to place two orders yesterday (12/11) but you had canceled both of them.

Out of curiosity, do you happen to have the order number for the original purchase of your license and do you know if you used PayPal to place that order?

I tried purchasing a license as well and it gave me the option to use my PayPal balance or a bank account. Would you be willing to check that your PayPal account is indeed linked up to a bank account and that the account you’re using is indeed the one you intend to use for the payment. Just want to rule that out in case.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Nick,

Great question! Facebook Events will allow you to import events from Facebook from a specific Facebook page or by using an event’s Facebook ID, but I’m afraid not by location.

As a side note, I would encourage you to check out our Event Aggregator service if you’re at all interested in Facebook importing options. It also does not import by location, but it is going to eventually replace our Facebook Events product and includes a ton more features, including importing options from other sources. Plus, it’s already included in The Events Calendar — all you need to do is purchase a license and add it to the Events > Settings > Licenses screen and it will activate the service without installing any additional plugins or software.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know!

    Howdy Ritch,

Absolutely, please do apply for the program! We love helping nonprofits organizations and would love to review your client’s application for consideration into our program.

I would suggest asking the client to apply for the program and for the license to be registered in their name. Once the account has been created, you can certainly update the contact information in the account to your own if it helps with the development process, but having it in their name at least up front would make the application process a lot smoother for sure.

Here’s a direct link to the application to get you started:

Did you have any other questions about the nonprofit program I can help answer? Please let me know. 🙂

    Howdy @lukeMV,

Thanks for reaching out and I hope Event Tickets Plus is a good fit for your site!

Good question. Each pricing variation would indeed need a new ticket. So, let’s say you had a few pricing levels: Free, $25, $100. You would set up a ticket for each level such as:

    • General Admission: Free
    • Priority Seating: $25
    • VIP Pass: $100

…or whatever you would like to name those tickets as.

And, yes, Event Tickets Plus does allow you to track inventory and it does seamlessly integrate with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO so that tickets can be added to the cart directly from the event post.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know!

Right on! I’m so glad to hear everything is working smoothly and I appreciate you following up to let us know.

For future reference, Avada has customized many of plugins for specific use with the theme and, as such, you may stumble into quirks like this from time to time, especially when new versions of our plugins are released. The reason being that the theme’s customizations are not always in caught up with the latest development of the plugins.

Definitely keep us posted if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help — but also try deactivating the theme as a first course of action to see if the issue is theme-related or a bug that we can help fix on our end. 🙂

    Hi @sukhwinder,

PHP warnings are often displayed because a site has wp_debug turned on. Please turn it off to remove the warnings using the information in WP Codex:

    https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG

In my last reply, I requested that you would open a new thread for any questions not related to the main topic of this one, which is about the process for registering for an event. The last couple of questions you have asked have not been related to that topic. Please let me know if I answered your original questions and save any other questions you might have for new threads.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Hi @sukhwinder,

Sorry, but I am not sure how the link you sent relates to tickets. That’s actually a venue page that lists events and tickets would not be displayed there.

Will you please try deleting the ticket you created in the screenshot you sent me in your earlier reply and replacing it with a new ticket that uses the WooCommerce option?

When you do, please note that tickets will only display on an event post if today’s date falls within the date range you set for the ticket. Otherwise, the ticket will be hidden from the event and will not display until it is in the active date range.

also I want to show all upcoming events on single map on events list map .

Will you please open a new thread for this question? I would prefer to keep our discussion focused on the original question you brought up in this thread. Otherwise, the conversation can get pretty confusing.

To get start with that, however, you can set the number of events to display at a time on the Events > Settings screen. The very first option will allow you to set the maximum number and you can make that as big as you’d like.

    Cheers!

    Hi Tien,

    Thanks for following up!

Well, I do see that your Community Events license was purchased back in March. So, unfortunately, I am unable to process a refund for that since we are outside the 30-day window and actually closer instead to the full year-long license being up for renewal.

To answer your other questions though:

does not display the name of the attendees, rather display just the attendee’s avatar.

Yes, that is correct. It only displays the avatar, but you could customize the list template so that it displays the attendee name as well. In fact, I have an example of how to do that you could use:

    https://gist.github.com/geoffgraham/9d5ff5b61f1afacc2708ed77b8f65af2

Will members be able to view Attendees names on the event page and can members create events in front end with RSVP if I purchase the Community Tickets?

Yes, those who submit events to your calendar using Community Events will be able to see the attendee list for the events they created if Community Tickets is also activated. They actually have a front-end admin page that lists all of their events with the ability to access the attendee list there.

It would be nice to have the options to not display the ticket price in the event page and just have a regular event with RSVP.

Just the displaying the attendee names with the attendee avatar in the attendee list, you could certainly override any of the calendar’s templates to remove the event cost information.

. Is the Community Tickets the only one available that can do RSVP? Can I return the Community Tickets if does not work for me?

Yes, Community Ticket is the only way to add RSVPs to the Community Events submission form and you may absolutely return it if it does not meet your needs. Please submit your refund request within 30 days of purchase, though, so we can process it.

    Cheers!

    Hi @zivameditation,

Sure thing and consider it done! I’ve gone ahead and deactivated your Personal license for Events Calendar PRO and exchanged it for an Event Aggregator Personal license.

You can access the new license key by logging into your account on our site and navigating to My Account > License Keys. You will also be able to access a download of Community Events by navigating to the Downloads screen from there.

Let me know if you have any issues accessing your new license key and I’d be happy to help.

    Cheers!

    Hey Chris!

    Man, I love this comment:

By the way, you guys are pretty responsive with your support for a smaller team with many customers (I know i’m not your only one, sadly, would love the attention … lol)

We do care a heck of a lot about our customers and doing the best we can do right by each and eery person, yourself included. You’re absolutely right that we’re running a small, but tight ship around here. Even though that prevents us from doing everything we get asked to do, it also allows us to get more personal when it comes to support and get to the heart of things. I’m stoked to hear this feedback from you.

You can be assured that we’ll get to your threads. Our team is hard at work fielding threads this very moment and throughout the rest of the day heading into the weekend. We’ll see you in those threads and I’m looking forward to getting these issues and concerns resolved together with you. Thanks for your partnership and cooperation!

    Cheers,
    Geoff
