    Hi Petra,

You absolutely can! You may use Event Aggregator to pull content from other sites using The Events Calendar into other sites using The Events Calendar.

In short, The Events Calendar has an iCalendar feed built right into it that Event Aggregator can read to fetch those events on an automated basis.

I will say, however, that it is not a perfect solution for keeping all your event data in sync between sites. For example, it will not pull in your venues and organizers, but it will import the event itself.

One other thing I should note about Event Aggregator is that it is a service and is already built into The Events Calendar. In other words, there’s not need to install anything new. Simple purchase the license, enter the license key on the Events > Settings > Licenses screen, and that will unlock the importing features under Events > Import.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey @Pascal,

So sorry for the trouble here! This is totally our fault. We hit the release button on Version 4.4 prematurely and had to immediately roll it back. As a result, some folks, including yourself, saw that update message and attempted to update.

There’s no need to update to 4.4 just yet and you can be sure that there will be another admin notice in WordPress when it is officially available. You may continue to see that message for a little while longer because of web caching, but know that 4.4 is not yet released.

Sorry about for the confusion! That was a bad move on our part and I apologize for how it mixed things up for you. Stay tuned to WordPress.org and our blog for 4.4 to officially be released:

    Hey Michael,

Great question! We are not inly interested in building a Year View, but it’s something we’re actively working on and hope to get out in a future release. You can find the thread for it in our feature request forum:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3827250-year-view

I’ll be honest and say we were hoping to get it in our upcoming 4.4 release, but we fell short because of some technical issues. That said, we are indeed working on it and, if you add your vote to the request, you will get a notification when it’s ready. 🙂

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hey Jennifer!

I was just about to say exactly what @Maximillian already said so well. Would you be willing to head over to the Events > Settings > Licenses screen and make sure that the license is entered in the Events Calendar PRO field and not in Event Aggregator by mistake?

    Cheers and thanks so much!

    Hi Gabriel,

Great questions! There is a way to allow folks to submit events to The Events Calendar from the front-end of the website without having to log into the WordPress admin. That requires our <u>C</u>ommunity Events and it works directly with The Events Calendar.

There is no live demo where you can see Community Events, but all our products come with a full refund within 30 days of purchase. That would give you a lot of time to test out the features and use them on your own site to see if it works well with your exact WordPress setup.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hello @nagroup,

Great question! However, I’m afraid that Event Aggregator is designed specifically to import events from other sources into The Events Calendar via the WordPress admin. In other words, it does not integrate directly with Community Events in a way where folks could submit import files or feeds for creating events.

Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Hello Cathie,

Great question! Our Event Tickets Plus plugin integrates directly with WooCommerce. It uses WooCommerce to handle the actual checkout and payment process for tickets sold for events. In other words, Event Tickets Plus will does not touch the checkout process at all, but relies on WooCommerce to do all that lifting — which means, that your WooCommerce settings will be respected in full.

Please note that Event Tickets Plus does require Event Tickets, which is a free download. 🙂

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Hi Lewis,

    Thanks for writing in!

I’m having a bit of a hard time picturing exactly what you’re describing but, if you’re interested in seeing how the calendar’s responsive design behaves, you can check it out on our demo site:

    http://wpshindig.com/events/

If you’re running into issues with the responsive layout on your site, then I would suggest troubleshooting the CSS to make sure the calendar’s styles are not being overridden by those of the theme or another plugin. You can test this by (1) switching to the default event template in the display settings and (2) testing for conflicts.

Also, if you’re seeking technical support, then please note that our pre-sales forum is used to answer questions about purchasing our premium plugins. It would be awesome if you could post your question to our WordPress.org support forum. Or, if you already have an active license for one of premium plugins, will you please log into your account and post your topic to our premium support forum instead?

    Thanks so much!

    Hey Jodi,

Thanks for getting in touch and I hope you had a great weekend. 🙂

I would say it’s not a crazy amount of coding to get the functionality you need to publish parties to a calendar and create tickets for them. In fact, we have the plugins to get you started on that right away:

    • The Events Calendar (free) – This is our core plugin that allows you to publish event posts in WordPress and display them in a calendar format.
    • Event Tickets (free) – This plugin extends The Events Calendar so that you can create free tickets (RSVPs) for the events that are published to the calendar.
    • Event Tickets Plus – This plugin extends Event Tickets so that you can create paid tickets for the events you publish to the calendar and sell them using WooCommerce as the checkout and payment engine. It also allows you to create custom registration fields.

Those three plugins integrate directly with one another and do not require any additional coding to set up other than configuring the settings for each plugin to see your exact needs.

The example you linked me to does look like a very customized implementation of our plugins. I would say that part would indeed require custom coding to get the same look and feel. However, as far as publishing events, creating tickets and collecting attendee information goes, all of that is standard right out of the box.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Emanuele,

Glad to hear you went with Event Aggregator! I have no doubt you’ll like it. 🙂

We actually have a tutorial on how to use our tribe_get_events() function to create your own query of event posts and event start date is a meta value it can use. Here are the examples:

    Using tribe_get_events

We typically like to keep support threads to one topic at a time — would you be ok with us marking this one resolved and moving to a new threads if you have any follow-up questions from here?

    Cheers!
