MemberHi Felix,
Yes, the latest version (4.4) is indeed a significant update that introduced big changes to the Community Events layout. You can read more about the changes here:

MemberHey Josh,
Absolutely — that page goes to a front-end page that can certainly be styled and themed.
There’s no need for Events Calendar PRO to get the event submission form, but you will need the Community Events add-on.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Traeci,
Absolutely! You can use the plugins on both your live and development sites. Here are some tips for making that happen:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/
In short, you have the choice of using a domain extension that does not get counted when reading licenses, or moving the license between the two sites. It’s also worth mentioning that the plugins do not require the license key in order to properly function — the license key simply activates automatic updates. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi @liamrabbitt,
Yes, both The Events Calendar 4.4.0.1 and Events Calendar PRO 4.4. are available and ready to install. If you do not happen to see the update notice in the WordPress admin, then you can always find the latest release by logging into this site and heading to My Account > Downloads. From there, you can install the update by following these instructions.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Jason,
Thanks for getting in touch — I appreciate you moving the thread to our forums here. 🙂
We are experiencing an issue with the mobile calendar (month) view where the dots/events on any given day do not display below when clicked.
Typically, this sort of thing (and I have seen it before) is due to one of two things: Javascript and/or theme conflicts. The trouble, though, is that you mentioned having reverted to a default WordPress theme and deactivating all other plugins, so that would seemingly rule those out.
However, at the same time, I am unable to see the same issue on my test site, which is running:
- WordPress 4.7.1 (latest)
- Twenty Sixteen theme (no other themes installed)
- The Events Calendar 4.4.0.1 (latest)
- Events Calendar PRO 4.4 (latest)
It looks like you are running version 4.3.3 of the plugins. Is there any chance of you being able to update to the latest versions? That would be the first place I’d recommend starting because it is possible that any possibly related issues have been resolved in the last few versions for this and the date datepicker error notice you mentioned as well.
Let’s give that a try to see if that makes the mobile month view dates clickable. If it does not for some reason, then I will want to suggest we do some deeper troubleshooting on a fresh test site and I will provide you with some steps to make that happen.
Thanks so much!

January 12, 2017 at 7:48 am in reply to: EDD Bot marking payments as paid twice adding attendees two times to an event #1217385Geoff
MemberHey Anne-Marie,
Thanks for the extra information!
What I tried doing is creating a fresh test site. In other words, I downloaded a fresh copy of WordPress and newly downloaded versions of the following plugins:
- The Events Calendar 4.4.0.1
- Event Tickets 4.4
- Event Tickets Plus 4.4
- Easy Digital Downloads 2.6.17
I did not download or install the other EDD extensions since I will only be doing test transactions rather than live ones. I set up EDD to only take test payments in the Downloads > Settings > Payment Gateways screen (screenshot).
From there, I create a new event in The Events Calendar. That event included a ticket (screenshot).
Then, I purchased a ticket and completed the custom registration fields.
Lastly, I checked my Attendee report and saw two things:
- The registration information was collected (screenshot)
- The order was only recorded once (screenshot)
In other words, everything seems to be working correctly.
The next thing I would like to try here is creating a fresh test site — this will avoid any disruption to your live site and ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory (if you have a CPanel-type hosting account there will probably be a one-click install script to make this really easy)
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus and Easy Digital Downloads
- Please also stick to the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme — again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Create a new event with a ticket, then make a few test purchases so we have some test data to work with
- Can you replicate the same problem?
If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.
Thanks for your help while we work on this together!

MemberHi Thomas,
Thanks for following up! I’m definitely sorry that installing fresh downloads of the plugins did not do the trick.
I see that there have been two other reports of memory notices after updating to 4.4 and that there is a high-priority open ticket in our system to look into it. I checked in with the development team and we’re still trying to establish a pattern, but it is being looked at.
I’ve added this thread to that ticket. I’ve also marked this thread Pending Fix so we can follow-up with you when we know more. In the meantime, please revert back to the previous version and we will follow up with you when we know more.
Thanks for patience while we work on this!

MemberHi Manuel,
Thanks for following up!
Although Avada is a very popular theme, it also has customized The Events Calendar and its tempaltes and bundled them directly in the theme files, including customized styles. While I appreciate the offer to let me log into your site, I am afraid that Theme Fusion support would still be better suited to navigate the theme itself and the customizations to the calendar plugin since they are familiar with the code involved in those customizations where we are not.
One option I can recommend is to navigate to Appearance > Customize > Advanced CSS and paste this into the screen:
.tribe-mobile #main { padding: 0 !important; }I’m really hoping that does the trick. If it doesn’t, then I will have to suggest reaching out to Theme Fusion because the code creating the conflict is coming directly from the theme.
Thanks so much!

MemberThat is really awesome, @Eric! Thanks so much for the tip — I know others will find that super helpful and I couldn’t appreciate it more. 🙂

MemberShoot, I was hoping that would work but it makes sense that it doesn’t since the plugin is designed to show only upcoming events rather than all events.
Another approach would be the one I mentioned earlier using tribe_get_events() to construct your custom query. The post I linked to gives examples, but I searched the forums and found another example of a customer who put it to use. That does require some coding, but I believe is ultimately the more solid way to go.
Cheers!
