    Hi Torsten,

    I’ll do my best to communicate knowing that my German is probably worse than your English. 🙂

    It sounds like you are looking for a plugin that will allow your website visitors to submit events to the calendar. Is that correct?

    If so, then I would recommend our Community Events plugin. You use it with The Events Calendar and it adds a form to your site that visitors can use to submit events to the calendar, with your approval.

    Hopefully I explained this clearly — but let me know if I can clarify anything at all and I’d be happy to. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Howdy Felix, nice to see you again!

    I was able to find a snippet that will hide past events, but it’s worth noting that it did not seem to work in Month View — however, it worked for me when I tested it in List View:

    Hopefully that at least gives you something to work with. 🙂

    Hi Jürgen,

    Thanks so much for the heads up! We actually have a ticket for this in our system and hope to get a patch out in our next maintenance release (4.4.1) if all goes according to plan. I’ve added this thread to the ticket and will mark this thread Pending Fix so we can follow up with you when we ship an update.

    Thanks again for reporting this and for your patience while we work on a fix.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi Josep,

    Ack, so sorry about this. We have indeed seen a growing number of reports with the same error message and we have an open ticket in our system to both look into it and fix things up. I’ve added this thread to that ticket and will mark this thread Pending Fix so we can follow up with you when we have more information.

    In the meantime, the best recommendation I can make, sadly, is to revert to the previous versions of the plugins. That will remove the error for sure and get you back to full working order while we work on a fix.

    Sorry again for the trouble and thanks for your patience while we work on this.

    Hey Michael!

    So glad to hear my last reply helped — thanks for following up to let me know. 🙂

    Oh yes, we are defintely looking into adding a host of communication-related features in future releases. In fact you can add your vote to the open feature request for it and that will subscribe you to updates on the feature:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4340231-email-list-of-event-attendees-to-admin-before-even

    I have no idea when we’ll start work on it or when it would be released, but I do know that feature is part of active conversations as we discuss our long-term roadmap. As you can see, it ‘s a popular request and we know how awesome and important it would be to make that functionality available.

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread since I see you have marked it resolved — but please feel free to let us know if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂

    Cheers and have a great weekend!

    Oh heck yeah, nice work, Felix! So weird that it would work in the default theme but not your active one. I know you’ve marked this thread Resolved, but I’m going to keep my open for other reports of this and will follow-up again with you in this thread if I continue to see this pop up in other places — that does sound super weird.

    Thanks and have a  great weekend!

    Hi Sudhir, thanks for following up!

    Yes, you can absolutely test out the feeds. The feed from our demo site is: http://wpshindig.com/events/ical

    It’s worth noting that the calendar app using the feed will need some sort of mechanism for refreshing and processing new data when it comes through. I only say that because not all apps offer it.

    Good question on print styles. The plugin does not include a print style sheet right out of the box, but making one and adding it to your theme is certainly possible. Once the file has been added to the theme directory, the only thing you’d need to do is enqueue it into the site using something like this:

    function tribe_custom_print_styles() {
    wp_enqueue_style( 'style-name', get_stylesheet_uri() );
    }
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'tribe_custom_print_styles' );

    Let me know if you have any other presales questions and I’d be happy to help!

    Cheers!

    Hi Felix,

    No, I’m afraid there are no known issue that we are aware of since version 4.4 was released.

    I do see what you mean, however, when I visit the page:
    http://t4f.gwd-gensert.de/kalender/vorschlag/add

    Just to confirm, will you please switch to a default WordPress theme (Twenty Sixteen would be great) and let me know if you continue to see the same issue?

    If you do see the same issue, how about if you deactivate all other non-Modern Tribe plugins? Do you see an difference then?

    The reason I ask is because I have tested this out on my test site in those same conditions and the submission form appears to work correctly:

    mt-support-comm-dropdown

    If you can confirm that the dropdowns work for you in those same conditions, then it will allow us to start looking at the theme or possible another installed plugin that might be conflicting and preventing things from working.

    Thanks!

    Hi @liamrabbitt,

    Awesome, glad to hear the update issue is resolved!

    Would you be willing to share some more details about what you’re seeing in Event Aggregator in a new thread? We like to keep each thread to one topic because it helps keep the conversation on track, but we’d be happy to help you check that out in a new thread.

    When you open that thread, here are some details that would be helpful for us to dig in:

    • A screenshot of your Event Aggregator system status. You can find this Events > Help
    • Your updated system information, which you can provide in a private reply on the new thread. The system information is located on the Events > Settings > Help screen, right by the Event Aggregator system status
    • A confirmation that the Event Aggregator license is in the correct field on the Events > Settings > Licenses screen — a screenshot would be helpful there as well

    I also checked our system to see if any existing tickets match this issue, but was unable to see any. Let’s start with that information in a new thread and we can dig in further!

    Did you have any other questions about the updating process that I can help answer in this thread? Please let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

    Thanks so much,
    Geoff

    I really appreciate the feedback, Kaylin, and could not apologize more for the unprofessionalism on my part and the team as a whole.

    Thanks for your candor and for giving our products a try. We hope to earn your business back in the future.

    Hi Sudhir, thanks for getting in touch!

    If a user downloads the export file for the calendar and imports events into their calendar app, then it will not update their calendar if further changes are made to the calendar. In other words, the user would need to re-download the file and re-import it.

    That said, The Events Calendar does include an iCal address that can be found at: [your-site]/events/ical

    If the calendar app the user has is able to pull in an iCal calendar feed from a URL, then that would provide updated information to the app.

    2. Is there a year view of all events?

    Not yet, but it is something we are working on. 🙂

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Thomas,

    Yes, it is indeed possible to display the navigation at the top of the calendar, just like it is at the bottom.

    Try adding this to either your theme’s stylesheet or by pasting into the Appearance > Customize > Advanced CSS screen:

    #tribe-events-header .tribe-events-sub-nav li {
    display: block;
    }

    Here is a screenshot of how that looks when I tested it out on your site.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
