MemberNice work! Pinpointing the conflict was a task, but I agree that could be the culprit.
Another plugin might do the trick. I’m not sure how the Portfolio post type is set up, but if youย registered it yourself, you can also enable tags for it–here’s a nice example from the WordPress forums.

MemberGood call! I do think that would be the next plugin to install and activate. Let’s see how that impact things.

MemberHi Nicole,
Oh, this is definitely a little tricky. Although this is outside the level of support I can provide here, I can tell that the snippet will alwaysย redirect mobile visitors to List View.
I think the only existing feature to help with this is to set the default view of your calendar under Events > Settings > Display. That will set the default view to be consistent across all devices.
To get to a point where you can switch views based on the device being used, you may need to use theย wp_is_mobile() condition to return specific layout components rather than redirecting to another URL.
Sorry I don’t have a solid answer for you here, but I hope this at least helps get you started in the right direction.
Cheers!

MemberI’m certainly not implying that it hasn’t been done–I just don’t have a readily available example to share.
We do make the core plugin available as a free download. If you use the examples I provided in my first reply, that should give you a good idea of how the feature works and whether it will be a good fit for what you’re looking for. ๐

MemberHi Danielle,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble here. I know working with the tooltips can be tricky and tough to maneuver.
You can certainly add the venue to the tooltip. This answer in this thread provides the steps to do that, including a code example. Give that a go and see if it will help you out as well. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi Taylor!
I don’t have any links that show that scenario offhand, though we do have a showcase where you may be able to find some examples. The Events Calendar is a free download so you can also give it a spin–sometimes it’s best to see how it will look on your exact site. ๐

MemberNot a dumb question at all! However, it all depends on your template and layout. The code should go where you want it to go on the page/template. You may need to fiddle around with it a bit to position it just right. ๐
