Event registration

Hi dear calendar team,

neat plugin, thanks 🙂

I’m setting up a page for a 3 day festival. Events are spread over Zurich and can be sorted and displayed in the usual ways. We have places, organizers, dates and so on, people can search and list events…

Is there a possibillity for a site-visitor (if necessary logged-in) to bookmark venues by checkbox (add this event to my list) and display them later on a page named f.e. “My selected events” to print out a customised festival plan?

Maybe you can mention what it would need to do so.

Hey there, Rolf! Thanks for writing in–it sounds you’re enjoying the plugin so far and that’s awesome. 🙂

Good question. That sounds like a cool feature, but unfortunately isn’t available right out of the box. We do have the Community Events add on, but that would allow people to submit events and see the events they’ve submitted instead.

Another option might be to check in with the Eventbrite Tickets add on. Those who register for an event using this will have access to all their registered events directly in Eventbrite. Not exactly what you’re looking for, but still might do the trick.

On another note, we are always accepting new feature requests here in this forum. I can’t guarantee that we will be build everything that is suggested in there, but it does allow others to vote on the idea and give us an idea of how many other people would find it useful as well.
