MemberHi Ronald,
Thanks for getting in touch and for checking out our plugins!
I think our plugins have you well covered based on those needs. Here’s what I would recommend:
- The Events Calendar – This is our free plugin that acts as the foundation for all of our other calendaring plugins, allowing you to create, edit and manage events in a calendar format, including your needs of title, description, location, date and time, and managing categories.
- Events Calendar PRO ($89) – This is an add-on to The Events Calendar that adds premium features you need, including recurring events.
- Event Tickets – This is our free plugin that allows you to provide free tickets (RSVPs) for events. This allows you to limit the number of attendees and it is required for the next plugin.
- Event Tickets Plus ($89) – This is an add-on for Event Tickets that allows you to create paid tickets for events and sell them using WooCommerce.
- Filter Bar ($89) – This is an add-on to The Events Calendar that provides the filters for the calendar and for events that you requested.
- Community Events ($89) – This plugin will allow organizers to register to your site and, once accepted, submit events to your calendar. You can moderate those events or allow them to publish immediately.
Does that sound like it covers all of the things you outlined above? If so, that brings the total amount to $356.
Cheers!

MemberHi Franck,
Thanks for getting in touch and following up on this. I am super sorry to report that the issue of recurrence rules getting lost when updating from pre-4.4 to newer versions has not been resolved.
We are indeed working on it. I checked the ticket in our system and see it was recently updated. The ticket notes that the fix will require a significant level of work that is currently in progress and that we are also trying to find the right release to include it in.
I’m sorry I do not have more information beyond that, but I have made a note of this thread in the ticket so that we can follow up with you directly when a fix is on the way.
Thanks so much for your patience as we continue to dig into this. I realize this is a huge inconvenience and an awful thing to impact such a key feature, like recurring events. We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Remi,
Thanks for getting in touch and for the kind words! I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying our plugins so far and I really appreciate your support. 🙂
It looks like we have an open feature request for this. Would you be willing to add your vote to the request? That will make sure your vote is counted — plus, it will allow you to sign up for notifications when there are updates made to the request.
Cheers and have a great day!

MemberHi @dkt,
We’d be happy to help — but I do want to note that our pre-sales forum is used to answer questions about purchasing our premium plugins.
If you’re looking for technical support, it would be awesome if you could post your question to our WordPress.org support forum. And, when you do, it would be super helpful if you could provide a link to your site and non-private system information when you post your question.
Or, if you already have an active license for one of premium plugins, will you please log into your account and post your topic to our premium support forum instead?
In the meantime, I would suggest checking your WordPress time settings on the Settings > General screen (screenshot) to make sure the time is correct there. Then, I would suggest following the steps in this guide to test whether there is a conflict between The Events Calendar and your theme or another installed plugin.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Lewis,
Thanks for getting in touch!
An Event Aggregator license already includes multisite support for up to 10 sites. If you need support for additional sites, then you can purchase additional licenses with each license counting for 10 more sites.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Thanks,

MemberHi @karen,
Great idea to not include a category on import! I’m happy to share that with the team, though I would recommend opening a feature request as well so that other can add their votes for it.
As you correctly note, there is no way to suppress the category on import– at least for events imported from one WordPress site to another. That appears to be the only source where events import the category along with the event. All other sources leave the category alone.
One thing you might try is to create a placeholder category. You can call this something like Uncategorized and automatically assign all imported events into that category. Then, you can bulk edit all events in that category to remove the category from those events, or simply delete the category altogether, which will also remove the category from all the events and leave them unassigned. I know that’s not a perfect solution, but it would be easier than having to manage multiple imported categories.

MemberHi @William,
Thanks for getting in touch! I hope you had a great weekend. 🙂
Oh shoot, we do indeed have Events Calendar PRO 4.4.5 out and it is ready for download anytime. I’m not sure why that update notice did not trigger in your WordPress admin, but you can find it by logging into our site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
And thanks for the heads up about be unable to auto-share system information — I sort of wonder if these two things are related, but I will at least flag it for our team in case there is something on our servers that is preventing that from working.
Cheers,

MemberHi Lewis,
Thanks for getting in touch!
So sorry for the confusion. Event Aggregator is actually already built into The Events Calendar. In other words, there’s no need to download or install anything new. Once you’ve purchased a license (which you have), enter the license key on the Events > Settings > Licenses screen, and that will unlock the importing features under Events > Import.
Also, if I use aggregator on more than 1 site, do I need to list them all on my license key?
Yes, as long as The Events Calendar is installed on each of those sites, you can enter the license on the Events > Settings > Licenses screen for each one.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Would you actually be willing to reach out to the Category Colors plugin for support? We have a great working relationship with the creator, but the plugin is totally managed and supported by the author rather than us.
Here’s a direct link to the support forum for Category Colors where help can be reached:

Thanks so much!
