MemberHi Reed,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’d be happy to help out. But first, will you please post this question to our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our open source forum. We review that forum weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support you will need to purchase a license.
Often users can find answers to by searching our knowledgebase. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
As a heads up, you should not need to rename your site’s functions.php file to get anything to work.
Thanks!

MemberHi Scott,
Thanks for getting in touch–I’m stoked that you’re checking out Events Calendar PRO and hope it’s a good fit. 🙂
Events Calendar PRO is excellent for lots of features (including extra calendar views, organizer and venue pages, shortcodes, etc.), but you’ll want to check out the Community Events plugin instead for allowing visitors to submit events to your calendar.
From there, those who submit events can create venues and organizers, which they can create the information for when filling out the event information. They will also be able to edit their events if you give them permission in the plugin settings.
Does this help? Let me know if you have any other questions!

November 12, 2015 at 12:36 pm in reply to: How to remove "export months events" button and also….. #1024888Geoff
MemberHi @david,
You can remove the button with some CSS. For example:
#tribe-events .tribe-events-button {
display: none;
}Same thing with the link:
#tribe-mobile-container .type-tribe_events .tribe-events-read-more {
display: none;
}Add those snippets alongside your theme’s custom styles or try a plugin like Simple Custom CSS.
Cheers!

MemberHi Dirk,
Good question! The number formatting is coming straight from WooCommerce. Have you checked the setting in WooCommerce > Settings > General in the Currency Options section? There are some configurations there for the thousands separator, but am not sure the settings are quite flexible enough to solve what you’re looking for.
Also, as a quick test, does the same thing happen when you add a ticket for an event from the back-end of the site rather than the Community Events form?
Let’s start here and see what we find.
Thanks!
GeoffNovember 12, 2015 at 12:13 pm in reply to: Changing the Upcoming Events view for single-organizer.php #1024872Geoff
MemberSorry for any confusion!
You can follow the exact same steps that are outlined in my first reply.
Them, you can remove these lines (65-67 for me) from the single-organizer.php template:
<?php // Use the tribe_events_single_organizer_posts_per_page to filter the number of events to get here. echo tribe_organizer_upcoming_events( $organizer_id ); ?>From there, you can create a custom list layout. That’s essentially stripping what’s in there now and clearing the canvas for you to create a custom loop.
Does this help clarify things? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberNice! Sorry for the trouble, but i’m glad to see things are back on the up and up. 🙂

MemberHi @Alexander,
Events Calendar PRO does include a handful of shortcodes. However, I do want to note that they are for embedding the calendar widgets and there are no shortcodes just yet for embedding the full calendar on a page or post.
For the time being, PRO’s shortcodes are the closest thing and we have a guide on how that works you might find helpful.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberThanks a ton! So sorry for the bummer info, but I’m glad it’s at least consistent with the expectations you set with the client–thanks for following up and letting me know!
