MemberHey there!
Yeah, I think CSS is a good way to go. Perhaps something like this will do the trick:
#tribe-bar-form .tribe-bar-submit input[type=submit] { padding: 10px 2px; }Try that and see if that will work for you. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Elizabeth,
Sorry for the trouble here!
Will you please try adding installing this plugin (ZIP file download) to your site? The calendar should show HTML elements by default but there has been an issue in the latest release. This plugin should help with that while we work on an official patch.
Let me know if that helps!

MemberHey Hans,
You know, they should be  but it’s possible we left them out when packaging things up. I’ll connect with the dev team to make sure we’re doing our part to keep things synced up on release.
Thanks!

GeoffDecember 21, 2015 at 3:18 pm in reply to: What's the point of managing core plugin translations via WordPress? #1044902Geoff
MemberHey Hans,
Good question. WordPress has made it known that they would like any open source plugin in the WordPress.org repo to go through WordPress.org for the translations process. We like to play by WordPress standards any time we can, so this is part of that process.
So, in other words, those updates should show up when The Events Calendar is pushed and new translations are indeed available. On the other hand, the premium plugins are managed on our translations site, where they are always available to update — though we do roll in updated translations with each dot release.
Cheers!

MemberYou got it! Sorry about that and thanks for the heads up. 🙂
Let me know if you’re still unable to access it for some reason and I’d be happy to look into it again.
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Yoav — excellent questions!
I’m afraid that variable tickets are not here quite yet, though it is something that has come up in our feature request forum and could use some more votes.
I do not believe that WooCommerce’s variable product feature is compatible with Event Tickets Plus, but it could be worth a try.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your questions? Please do let me know and I’d be happy to answer any others you might have.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff

GeoffDecember 21, 2015 at 2:57 pm in reply to: Purchased Event Tickets Plus, Meant to purchase Community Tickets… swap? #1044891Geoff
MemberHey Chris,
No worries at all! I went ahead and refunded your license for Event Tickets Plus and you should see the funds back in your account in 5-10 business days.
I was unable to make a 1 for 1 switch since the prices for the licenses are different, so please go ahead and purchase Community Tickets and you should be good to go from there.
And, of course, let me know if you have any questions and I’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey there,
Sure thing! Try adding this CSS to your site’s style.css file or using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS:
#tribe-community-events #event-categories ul li.hidden_category { display: block; } #show_hidden_categories { display: none; }That seemed to do the trick when I tested it out. Let me know if it’s the same for you. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Brett,
Man, I’m really sorry to hear that you’re disappointed! Hearing that and being called unprofessional in the same sentence is a tough pill to swallow, but I am hoping we can chat this out a little further and see just where things have gone south.
First off, what ticketing service are you referring to? We do offer a number of ticketing plugins here at Modern Tribe, but none of them are services in the sense that they could go down. In other words, the plugins are installed on you website’s servers and maintained from there without any other interaction on our end.
That said, our plugins will never intentionally take down a website. That makes me think that there could be a conflict that may have occurred during an update to either the ticket plugin or perhaps or another component of the site. If you could, it would be super helpful if you could provide some additional information as far as what steps you took prior to the crash happening. I would be more than happy to help troubleshoot from there and even see if I can replicate the same issue on my site. It would also be awesome if you could copy your system information (at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help screen) and paste it here as a private reply.
I’m sorry for the disappointment, but I do hope we can move forward with this and get back to a position where we can work together and pinpoint the issue.
Sincerely,

MemberHi Rudi,
Thanks for the extra info — that helps a lot!
503 errors are indeed often the result of PHP memory issues on the server or host end of things. Let’s go with the path I suggested in my previous reply and go from there.
Thanks!
