MemberHi Lang,
Are you able to add menus by going to Appearance > Menus from the WordPress dashboard?
If those options aren’t there, then I think this might be a better question for the theme author since the menu management appears to be slightly different than a typical default WordPress theme and would be know the way around it.
Thanks!

MemberHey Nick and welcome back to the forums!
Sorry for the trouble here. I see you’re using the Avada theme and it does contain it’s own set of custom CSS for the calendar, so I’m willing to bet that there is a slight conflict in there.
Can you confirm what spacing changed and how it should look? I’d be happy to check it out from there!
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Adrianne,
Thanks for getting in touch! Congrats on starting up the website. π
I just tried adding the snippet from this tutorial into my functions.php file and it seemed to do the trick. What happens if you add the snippet to the parent theme’s functions.php file instead?
Cheers!

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for purchasing the plugins and sorry for the trouble!
A missing license tab is often the result of running different versions of The Events Calendar with the premium add-ons. Are you able to go to your Plugins page and confirm that both The Events Calendar and the premium plugins are running the same version (e.g. 4.1)?
You can also head to Events > Settings > Help, copy your system information and paste it here as a private reply and I’d be happy to check for you.
Thanks!

MemberHi Matthew,
I’m afraid that List View does not support sticky posts. Sorry for the bad news!
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHi Matt,
Sorry for the frustration here!
You can disable the ticket form from appearing by adding this to your theme’sΒ style.css file:
.single-tribe_events #tribe-events-content form.cart { display: none; }That will hide the ticket form while keeping all the other functionality of the plugin in tact.
Will this do the trick for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberDid you use the same recurrence settings for the event that you did before? Also, have your tried turning off the “Recurring event instances” options in Events > Settings?
Geoff
MemberSure! It’s located at:
wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/widgets/list-widget.php

MemberHi Lang — nice to see you again. π
Will you please try heading to Events > Settings > Display and changing the default page template to one of your theme’s templates (screenshot)?
Chances are that the theme has a different or custom way of constructing menus than the standard WordPress method and is ignoring the calendar as an archive template — changing to one of your theme’s templates will likely resolve that.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHi Rich,
Great question!
Our iCal Importer will fetch events from any online calendar that has a valid iCal URL to link to and to automatically perform it’s fetches up to an hourly basis. And, when it does, it will feed those as events posts to The Events Calendar.
Both iCal Importer and The Events Calendar support a multisite network as far as being activated on a main network and then allowing for automatic plugin updates on the sub-sites in the network.
I do want to caution that The Events Calendar is fantastic for events, but probably not the best fit for bookings, like appointments. In other words, the plugin does not include a daily agenda format that would be conducive for hourly appointments, but would be great for displaying daily events.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. π
Cheers!

MemberAwesome job, Lang!
Yes, you can comma-separated the categories like that to display events in multiple categories. π

MemberHi Monica,
Thanks for following up!
Yes, the plugins can be used on a multisite installation and you can purchase whatever license you see fit for your use, whether that is Personal or Multisite. The Multisite level license can be activated at the network level and grant automatic updates to all sub-sites within the network.
If you’re wondering whether or not you actually need a Multisite license for the plugins, it kind of depends on what you’re looking for and I would suggest checking out this article to help you decide, as it covers the main reasons why you might choose to goΒ with one license over the other.
Does this help clear things up? Please let me know. π
Cheers,
