MemberYeah, we are planning to work on both of those in the same push. Looking at the ticket, it is currently set to “TBD,” I do know, however, that we are planning to ship our next maintenance release early next week and immediately scope the next one, which would be two weeks out from that. I’ve bumped the priority of the ticket up so it shows up higher on the radar as we do the scoping and will keep you posted from there.
Thanks man!

MemberHmm, that is very strange. It seems to work when I give it a try, so that’s perplexing.
What happens if you try making the change to the original file from the first reply you got? Does that make a difference?

MemberAh, gotcha — thanks for clarifying!
Yeah, I’m afraid the plugin does not do email marketing in and of itself, though you could use a service like Mail Chimp or Campaign Monitor to send that sort of mass message with a call to action to register for the event.
Does that help clear things up? Let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberMy pleasure! Definitely let us know if any other weirdness pops up and we’d be more than happy to check it out. 🙂

MemberHey @philly00,
Sorry for the trouble here! I just visited the site and was able to see the calendar (screenshot). Were you able to fix things on your own, or should I perhaps be looking somewhere else? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers,

MemberBy jove, you nailed it! It was the difference between being logged in and out. Nice work and thanks for staying with me on that — serious props to you. 🙂
I have added this to the ticket we have logged in our system to address this. While I do not have a target date for that, I have indeed added this thread to the ticket and will be sure to follow up with you as I learn more.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Sabathia and thanks for chiming in! Would be so kind as to open up a new thread? While your description of the issues sound similar to the one brought up by the original poster, they do appear to be different and we would like to support you directly with them rather than piggybacking on this thread and possibly crossing wires.
Thanks and we’ll see you in the other thread!

MemberHello Monica,
Yes, Filter Bar is a different plugin from Events Calendar PRO with it’s own features.
So sorry for the confusion there — if you could point me to something that says (or could be misconstrued as) otherwise, please do let me know and I’d be happy to fix that up.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHowdy Chris,
Excellent question. That is indeed a feature we are hoping to work on for a future release but, for now, Event Tickets merely captures the intent of someone who is planning to attend.
And, yes, the plugin does capture a list of attendees, which can then be exported and integrated into the mailing application of your choice.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Chris,
Sorry for the delayed reply! I haven’t seen anything come through in our inbox and the bosses’ spandex suits are clear as well. Is the email from your address or another?
Either way, I’ll follow up with you in just a bit with more info.
Thanks!
