MemberHey Luis,
That’s absolutely correct: you can use Community Events with The Events Calendar. You do not need Events Calendar PRO for those two to work together.
Cheers!
GeoffGeoff

MemberHi Guru,
Shortcodes are a feature of our Events Calendar PRO add-on for The Events Calendar plugin and we only sell Events Calendar PRO here on this site.
I’m not sure if the theme author promised you access to Events Calendar PRO as part of the deal to purchase the theme but you will either need to ask them whether they provide that for you or you will need to purchase one from us in order to register Events Calendar PRO to your site.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Stephanie,
Thanks for getting in touch!
I was just visiting the link you provided to your site and it appears that the spacing is no longer there (screenshot). Were you able to fix that on your own, by chance?
My hunch is that the theme’s styles are spacing things out a bit. If you’re still seeing problems with this, please link me to them and I’d be happy to take a look to confirm my hunch and see if I can recommend styling changes to fix them.
Cheers!

MemberHi Armando,
Thanks for getting in touch and welcome back!
Yes, you do indeed need to change the language of your site in order for the translation of The Events Calendar / Events Calendar PRO to take effect. You can do that on the Settings > General screen in WordPress.
For more detailed instructions on how to change the language of the site and your calendar, definitely check out this guide. It provides good tips and tricks for making sure your calendar shows the correct translation and how to customize it further:

MemberHi Deborah,
Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear about the trouble with content missing form the event post, but I’m happy to look into it with you to see what’s up.
First, what button were you using for a registration link? I can see you are using Contact Form 7 for the embedded form based on the shortcode you provided, so that helps.
Secondly, did you add the button and the form directly in the event post content? If so, do you still see them in the content editor and they are simply not showing up on the post? Or are they no longer there and you need to add them back to the content editor?
Let’s start with that and see what we find. That will help us dig into this a little more.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHey Steven,
Great question! Although, we only offer annual licenses at this time.
Let me know if you have any other questions about licensing and I would be happy to help.
Cheers!

MemberHi Dave,
I’d be happy to help with this! In fact, we have step-by-step instructions for moving licenses from one site to another right here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
You basically disconnect the site from your account here on our site, then enter the license key on the new site. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

MemberHi Joe,
I’m certainly sorry to hear that and sorry to disappoint. I hope that my last reply at least helped answer your question though.
You had mentioned the possibility of asking for a refund for Community Events if the functionality you were looking for was not supported. Please let me know if that is something you would like and I would be happy to help process it.
Thanks,
GeoffMarch 16, 2017 at 6:54 am in reply to: publish monthly calendar in single page wordpress site #1255016Geoff
MemberHey Bob,
Yes, that is absolutely correct — the calendar will always provide your visitors with a way to access more events regardless of where it is embedded. In fact, Month View will allow visitors to toggle between months.
I also forgot to mention that the shortcodes have a date filter on them, so you could embed the Month View on the same page/post multiple times and specify specific months. For example:
[tribe_events view="month" date="2017-03"]That will embed March 2017 and you could repeat that as many times as you would like for other months. That would give you multiple calendar, though you would need to change them out to display future months, as needed.
I do think adding the calendar to a section of the page and linking to it in a custom menu link will indeed work. You will need an anchor on the page for the link to target. So, for example, on your page, you might have:

Upcoming Events
[tribe_events view="month" date="2016-08"]Then, your custom menu link would be:
/[page-slug]#calendarI hope this helps!

MemberHey Nick,
Yeah, that’s exactly correct. You will most certainly be able to continue using the plugin in its current state once the license expires.
On that note, I will say that I would avoid updating The Events Calendar when your license expires too. We recommend keeping the versions in sync with one another the ensure full compatibility, so keeping them at the same version will ensure everything keeps working as smoothly as possible. 🙂
Did you have any other questions about licensing? Let me know and I’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

MemberHey Riccardo,
I tried playing around with this using those plugins and even tried a couple of others.
The only way I was able to get this to work was by doing the following:
- Install the User Roles and Capabilities plugin
- Creating a new custom user role based off of the Author role (Users > Roles & Capabilities > Add New Role)
- Changing an existing user to the new custom user role
- Switching the post to the user assigned to the new user role
Hopefully that works for you as well!
Cheers,

MemberHey Nick,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Great question. A license grants you access to support (posting threads here in our premium forums) and enables automatic plugin updates when the license is registered to your site.
And, yes, the Personal license grants those for a single site.
Thats said, there’s noting that prevents you from using the plugin on multiple sites. You just will be unable to access support for that site or enable automatic updates.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
