Hi Richard, hope you had a great weekend!

Which page are you referring to? Do you perhaps have a link or screenshot where I can see what you’re referring to?

    Thanks!

Oh, and I should add that it is not currently possible to put the full calendar on your homepage, though that feature is coming in Events Calendar PRO 4.3.

For the time being, the only way to embed the calendar on other pages, like the homepage, is to use the calendar widgets:

Sure thing! Your full calendar is located here:

By the way, I live in Long Beach myself — this looks like a great cause for the city. 🙂

    Hi Alexender,

Thanks for the suggestions! Would you be willing to add these to our feature request forum? That will allow us to keep all our feature requests together and let other vote on the idea as well.

When you post the idea, it would be great if you could add more detail about how the field security would work — for example, are you looking for a reCAPTCHA level of security for all for data, simply obfuscating the email address, or some other method? Let us know those details when you post the thread.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Leigh,

Great question — I actually had to test this out myself to make sure I had the answer.

I thought that the setting to limit the display of recurrences to one (Events > Settings) might carry over to the Community Events list as well, but that is actually not the case. In other words, there is no setting to limit the display that you are missing.

That’s an idea though, so I went ahead and took the liberty of creating a ticket in our system to look into it further. I can’t make any promises that we will build the feature, but this will certainly ensure that we have it on the radar for consideration.

Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Cheers,

    Great question, Stephanie!

I’m afraid that I have not seen a good extension for optimizing the calendar’s print styles. For the time being, it would be a fairly custom development task that would require writing custom CSS.

I do know that optimizing print styles is something that we discuss here on the team from time to time and that we have an open ticket in our system to explore it further. I don’t see any timeframe for the ticket as it seems to still be in the exploratory phase of things.

Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions here about print styles and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

    Cheers!

    Hey Richard, happy Friday!

Great question. You will need to create am manual order for offline registrations directly through WooCommerce by heading to WooCommerce > Orders > New. That will allow you to create a new order for someone who registered offline and, once it’s been created, the regular process of a ticket being created and sent to the attendee will take place.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers,

Hi Susanna and welcome back to the forums!

Each page on The Events Calendar has buttons that visitors can click to add events to their calendar application, whether it’s on their phone or desktop computer. Here’s a screenshot of one of those buttons on your site.

One thing to note is that the buttons generate files that the visitor downloads into their personal calendars. In other words, it’s a one-time download that pulls the events that are currently published to the calendar. Any events published to the calendar after the download will not be included.

The only true mechanism for someone to “subscribe” to your calendar is to use RSS. The RSS feed for your calendar can be found here:

    http://glasllwch.org.uk/calendar/feed/

That is the link your visitors can use to subscribe to calendar updates using the RSS application of their choice.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Mark!

Oh yes, the ol’ page title issue. The short answer is that you can try heading to Events > Settings > Display and changing the default calendar template setting to use the “Default Event Template” (screenshot).

The more nuanced answer is that the theme is attempting to place a page name at the top of the page in the header. And, since the calendar is a custom post archive template, the theme is automatically assigned the name “Archives” to the page because that is what it is being recognized as.

If the suggestion to change page templates does not do the trick, then I would suggest reaching out to the theme author for advice on how to remove or change the page title on a case-by-case basis. They might have a filter you can add to the functions.php file that can change it specifically for events.

    Cheers!
