MemberHi Herve
There are 2 possible things at work here.
First, the search toolbar only looks at the event description information. If you include the word Paris in the description, it may improve the results.
We do have a city filter built into the Filter Bar plugin, which would be far more accurate. You can see it in action on our demo site (2nd row displayed) WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/.
Second, check your settings at Events » Settings » General » Map view search distance limit. Increase this to see if you have more results available.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Erik
What is the source of your events? If they are importing from Facebook, I have less than happy news:
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changes went live with little notice to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and ‘own’ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us. As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events. We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHey there
I would suggest creating 2 tickets. The first would be RSVP, and in its description list “all attendee access”. Then in the 2nd ticket, $20 with a description of “car registration”.
After you have both ticket types created, can you send me a link again to both the single event and your events page list? I’ll take a quick peak and see if we can hide the price there if it is still a problem.
Thanks

MemberHi Jon
Can we keep the conversation going on the initial ticket you opened with me around this same topic?
Thanks

We really would like to work with you on this. Would you be interested in a license for the remaining time for one of our other plugins instead of a refund?
If you interested in a refund, you can fill out the refund form https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.

MemberHi Colleen
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. A few tips to help you carry this further include:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- We generally don’t recommend that you change the theme or plugin’s CSS files directly, as they will be overwritten. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.

MemberHi there Emile
At this time, we do not have such an embed-code. The closest we can suggest at this time is if the other sites are WordPress-based, to use the WordPress oEmbed option to show a preview of the article. They would need only post the link into their own WordPress post/page with no formatting on a line by itself to display single event previews of your site.
That said, this might be a feature we include more likely in our latest product: http://loxi.io. At this time, it isn’t planned, but Loxi allows users to embed the calendar on any website or platform. Do check it out.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey David
If you visit Event Aggregator , we have just such a message at the very top of the page about the situation. It’s been live for about 2 weeks as things continue to decline.
Truly we wish things had not degraded so much.
I have swapped your products and extended your time with our Eventbrite plugin. Please go to My Account » Downloads https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ and download the Eventbrite Tickets plugin.
Then get your license key https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/, and go to Events » Settings » Licenses to enter it.
Let me know if there is anything further I can do to assist you.
Thanks

MemberHi Noelle
I don’t see Event Aggregator on your account currently. The license field for it is part of the The Events Calendar plugin, but none of the features for it work without a current subscription. Either way, at this time Facebook imports no longer work due to recent changes on Facebook’s end.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberThanks Chris! We will let you know if we implement this.
