MemberHey Robert
I wish we had a better solution regarding the Facebook issue for sure.
As for importing other events, are you able to get an iCal/ICS file from other sources? This can be scheduled as a routine import if so.
Thanks

MemberHey Rachel
We’ve run into a few people with Divi issues. Check out our guide that should help clear this up: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/
Let me know how it works for you.
Thanks

MemberHey Brenda
I checked in with my friend Jamie in support over at Beaver Builder. At this time, Themer interacts only with a general Events archive layout. It does not yet interface with past events, nor recurring events. However, they’ve noted this requests and have it on their radar. No estimated delivery yet for Themer to include it.
Do check in with them as they continue developing this integration.
Thanks

MemberHi Carlo!
Yes, in order for Events Calendar Pro to work, you must keep The Events Calendar installed and activated.
Can you walk through this guide for changing the title and let me know if that method works for you?

MemberHey Marc
I really wish I could give you a date for this feature. It’s still on our roadmap, but does not have a timeframe yet for release. You can learn more or receive updates about the issue by voting for it at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Chris
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to โspeakโ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changesย went live with little noticeย to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and โownโ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us.ย As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events.ย We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

At this time, we do not have a demo of the back end.ย However, you can see for a demo of the front end of our products.ย Check it out at WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/.ย
Read more at: Do you have a demo, examples I can see, or trial licenses?
You can check out Events Calendar Pro and proceed through the checkout from there.

Recurring events are a part of the Events Calendar Pro https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ plugin. This plugin requires that you still use the free The Events Calendar as well.
You can read more about how recurring events work and how to use them at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/.

MemberHey Sam
Yes! You can use Event Aggregator to import events from another site using the “Other URL” option at Events > Import.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey Ryan
When you install The Events Calendar free plugin, by default the calendar will display on yoursite.com/EVENTS. You should also see the Events dropdown from the admin dashboard allowing you to “View Calendar”.
I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum.
For further technical assistance, you can request help on the WordPress.org support forum https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! ๐
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHey Robert
So sorry that has happened. The Other URL feature works with sites running The Events Calendar 4.5 or newer, along with Eventbrite imports.
We have had the warning notice up on Event Aggregator for about a month now as Facebook has been changing their access for us to use Events.

We really would like to work with you on this.ย Would you be interested in a license for the remaining time for one of our other plugins instead of a refund?
If you interested in a refund, you can fill out the refund form https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

MemberHey Tyler
Hi there
At this time, we do not have a demo of Event Aggregator.ย
Read more at: Do you have a demo, examples I can see, or trial licenses?
We do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.

Courtney ๐May 30, 2018 at 1:04 pm in reply to: How do you suggest we add locations, as categories, tags, or sort later? #1542318Courtney
MemberHi Lorraine
To combine categories in a shortcode, it’d look more like [tribe_events view=”list” categories=”barbecue, black-tie”]
You can see on our demo site how to use the “Near” field: https://wpshindig.com/events/ (top row). For this to work, it searches the event description (see the post excerpts on the editor screen for including the city names to be discovered in the “Near” search).
The 2nd row is our Filter Bar plugin, which can sort out locations much better. It does not include additional shortcodes and only works on the /Events page at this time.
Calendar View Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ and Widget Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ work only with Events Calendar Pro https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ at this time.
We have a few other shortcodes for things such as single events https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-single-events-tribe_event_inline-shortcode/
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
