MemberHey Eric
Can you test using a unique API key for our plugin compared to WP Google Maps? I have often seen that the same key in use in multiple places within your site has created issues.
Let me know if that resolves this.
Thanks
Courtney πCourtney
MemberSure thing Meghan. Since this thread has been resolved, I’ll close it out. Do let us know if you have further questions.
Thanks

MemberHi Lea
I’d suggest using categories within a shortcode. At this time, tags aren’t a filter option within our full page shortcode options.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/#common can show you how to get this set up.
Also, if you aren’t customizing the pages, you could add the category link to your menu. See our demo site as an example https://wpshindig.com/events/category/learning/.
If you want additional filter options, check out Filter Bar.
Let me know how this works out for you or if you have further questions.
Thanks

MemberHi there Nevita
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to βspeakβ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changesΒ went live with little noticeΒ to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and βownβ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us.Β As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events.Β We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
We really would like to work with you on this.Β Would you be interested in a license for the remaining time for one of our other plugins instead of a refund?
If you interested in a refund, you can fill out the refund form https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHey Eric
That is interesting. Are you using separate Google Maps API keys on each plugin?
Also, check out this recent update:
https://theeventscalendar.com/important-google-maps-api-changes/Thanks
Courtney πCourtney
MemberHi Charlie
This sounds like a Google Maps API Key issue. Check out this recent update:
https://theeventscalendar.com/important-google-maps-api-changes/ You may need to log in to your Google account and update some settings there. Then see https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/ to get your key set up.
Do note, if your theme also requests an API key, use a unique key for each.
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks

Please let me know if you haven’t heard back from us within 2 days.
Thanks

MemberHey Gerhard
I think you just need to add in your Google Maps API Key. Before getting that, check out this recent update:
https://theeventscalendar.com/important-google-maps-api-changes/Then see https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/ to get your key set up.
Do note, if your theme also requests an API key, use a unique key for each.
Let me know if this works for you.

MemberHi Ezekial
At this time, we do not have a date to announce this integration. It is on our plans, but I can’t make any promises. It doesn’t appear to be something we can address “soon” though.
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets will keep you up to date on our progress with this. Please stop by and vote the request up.
Thanks

MemberHi Michael
I’ve seen a few people do this using Beaver Builder Themer. The Beaver Builder team has built some really interesting ways of integrating with our plugin. https://theeventscalendar.com/design-an-event-calendar-beaver-themer/ (note this is in Beaver Themer, not just the Beaver Builder plugin).
However, if you just want a carousel, you could look for any that support “custom post types”. Technically, our “Events” are like “Posts”, but considered a WordPress custom post type.
It’s certainly worth testing using our free The Events Calendar plugin, as if your carousel works with that, it will work with Events Calendar Pro.
Let me know what you find.
Thanks

MemberHello Nathanael
Interesting. It looks like you’ve helped us log a bug.
I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as itβs in the development teamβs hands now.Β They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.Β The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.Β Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks

MemberHey there
Check out the Attendee List section in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/. You can definitely check people in manually. Is that what you had in mind?
Thanks
Courtney πCourtney
MemberHi Sofie
You can certainly customize that on your end.
You can start with https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-post-meta-data/. This will help you match up the values The Events Calendar will work with to the fields in Gravity Forms.
https://wpforms.com/create-a-user-submitted-events-calendar-in-wordpress/ is a tutorial for a similar product and might be a good reference as you build.
Let me know how this goes!
Thanks
