MemberHi there Fred!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum.
Check out our article on social media sharing: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-social-media-sharing-to-events/
Can https://www.kcbs.us/events provide an export option for .ICS format? If so, Event Aggregator can import the events. Or even a .CSV can be imported for free by The Events Calendar.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey Lucy
The main 2 reasons I would think for maintaining the /events page is to see all events and if you use the Filter Bar plugin, as it can only display on the events page.
Any time you see a link to “all events”, it will default to this page, even if you do not use it in your menus. You could customize this using our Themer’s Guide.
You certainly can use shortcodes as you’ve done to show the different event categories.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey William
Can you disable all other plugins, including Events Calendar Pro, and try to check for updates? Then reactivate Events Calendar Pro next, and recheck for updates.
If that works, reactivate the rest.
Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks

MemberHi there Barry.
We’ll keep your thread public for those that might be interested. I’d also suggest you check in with our customizers at Find A Customizer https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/.
I do hope you find what you are looking for. When you get this implemented, we’d love to learn more about the final project. https://theeventscalendar.com/showcase-submission/

MemberHey there Shannan
Thanks so much for reaching out! We removed all mention of Event Aggregator supporting Facebook imports about 6 weeks ago. Can you help me find where you are still seeing that option? I’d like to remedy that information ASAP to help others hold off on purchases until Facebook restores our access.
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changes went live with little notice to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and ‘own’ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
After waiting 10 weeks on our review, they finally responded – we were approved for usage of the user_events privilege. To make matter worse and more murky, since the user_events privilege is private, we can’t even experiment with it in Facebook’s Graph API Explorer tool (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/) because it isn’t available in the list of permissions. All of this means that even if we do get through approval, we have absolutely no idea what data this is going to give us access to.
Needless to say, we are just as stuck and frustrated as our clients on this issue. We will continue to keep you updated through our social channels, blog posts, newsletters, and on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/.
We really would like to work with you on this. Would you be interested in a license for the remaining time for one of our other plugins instead of a refund?
If you interested in a refund, you can fill out the refund form https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHi Hazel
We are closer, but not really much more clear on a date yet.

MemberHey Gavin
The next step is to run through conflicts testing.
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.Â
We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).Â
If you are unable to do so, please install the Health Check plugin so that you can effectively disable all plugins without website visitors noticing any changes. See https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/#troubleshooting for how to do this.
Begin by deactivating all other plugins except ours and Woo, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).Â
Please send in your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ as well after your tests so that we can better diagnose the issues you are having.Â
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHi Alex
[tribe_events view=”day” date=”2018-07-17″] is the closes we’ve got for you. So sorry about that. I would like to see this expanded too.
Thanks

MemberHi Rachel
Sidebars can vary with each theme. Test how your /events page looks when you change these settings: Events » Settings » Display »
Default stylesheet used for events templates
& Events template.

If that doesn’t help the sidebar display, you’ll need to do some custom coding. Begin at the Themer’s Guide so that any of your overrides are preserved with plugin updates.
Let me know if the Display settings work for you.
Thanks

MemberHi there Alex
Unfortunately, this is not something we currently have a way to achieve dynamically. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can vote for it at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/11233989-today-s-events-widget.
You can see others that have hidden the extra information in the this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/widget-to-display-only-events-with-todays-date/.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

MemberHi Ron
I’ve swapped this for you. Head to My Account » Licenses https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ to get Community Events and your new license.
Thanks

MemberHi Gavin
Can you go to Events > Settings > Tickets and tell me if you’ve enabled Tribe Commerce?
This should be unchecked to use Event Tickets Plus with Paypal if you want to use WooCommerce to achieve that.
Thanks
