    Hi,
Is there a good reason as to why I should use the default events page for my list of events rather than using the short code that I can then easier integrate into my design?
I want to show events in map view from one category (streatham-strut) on one page and a map view of another category of events (art-23) on another page.
    this is the second page
    https://streathamfestival.com/art-23/

    thanks

    Hey Lucy

The main 2 reasons I would think for maintaining the /events page is to see all events and if you use the Filter Bar plugin, as it can only display on the events page.

Any time you see a link to “all events”, it will default to this page, even if you do not use it in your menus. You could customize this using our Themer’s Guide.

You certainly can use shortcodes as you’ve done to show the different event categories.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

    Hi

thanks, the only other thing is from my other post which is really
urgent, that I am unable to show 2 maps with events on from two
different categories one on each page
