Hi John
I do see that you are using the shortcode that you displayed above. Are you still wanting a different solution?
To further customize the color of widgets, you can also see Styling Events Widgets. If you aren’t familiar with CSS, I’d suggest also reviewing Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.
I will submit this request for our developers to consider. It would be really handy to have that featured filter in the shortcode.
Let me know if I can be of further help.
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Andy
I see that page as password protected. I’d be happy to take a look at it with the password for just that page. I’d prefer to not have login details.
You can reply to this privately as well.
Thanks,

Getting your events to display in Google search results is great. Let’s see if we can see them there soon!
I’d recommend a few things. First, you’ll need a WordPress sitemap. It’s something Google likes to have so that they can see every page you’re domain contains. I’d recommend using Yoast SEO for this. It will make a sitemap, and if you complete the Yoast information on each post/page/event, Google will know further how to rank your site for SEO purpose. Yoast’s website has great tips and guides on how to configure your site – such as https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/.
Have you submitted your site to Google Webmasters? They also have a lot of great guides and will take that sitemap made by the Yoast plugin.
Finally, the keywords that you are using to search will impact how the results display. It looks like you’ve searched for “urban overland park“. In your case, it looks like your website should pull results first by searching for the city and term “auction”. As you grow, perhaps “Illinois Auction”. Good luck!
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Courtney ๐CourtneyMemberHi Robert,
Unfortunately that isn’t possible. However, you can set the end time to be as far into the future as you need.
Please let me know if I can help you further.
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Michael,
Can you point me to the exact page that the this is happening on?
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Ann-Catrine ๐
We’re happy you’ve upgraded. To see a full list of features that are available to pro users, check out the page Events Calendar Pro. Specifically, in the section entitled “Is PRO Right For You?”, you can see each different feature.
The reasons I like the pro level include using recurring events, shortcodes, and different layout options (like photo view) for the main events page.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help you.
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Chris,
Yes, it’s possible to add forms within a single event. Most form plugins provide a [shortcode] for each form, in addition to a button in the WordPress post/page editor. Even if the form plugin button doesn’t display, using the form’s [shortcode] will display the form.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Courtney ๐CourtneyMemberHi Jeremy
I’m sorry you are having this experience. Let’s see if we can fix that.
Can you tell me if https://www.globaltwincities.com/tribe-events/ shows within WPAdmin ยป Pages as a page named Tribe Events? Or if there is a page there called Events?
If either of these pages are ones that have been created, does it have a [shortcode] on it?
I asked because I also checked out https://www.globaltwincities.com/events/ (where our plugin would normally put the Events page). It shows a calendar but not in a clean way.
I’m curious about how your site that works well is configured to show the plugin.
Keep me posted please. ๐
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Kristy
I clicked through to your site to see what is happening. The link you provided redirects me back to the home page. Can you resend another example link?
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi John,
Can you share your System Info and website address with me. I’d like to take a look at your site to see how I can further help you.
Do you need to use a shortcode specifically? Or is this in an official widget location? If it’s in a widget location ( Appearance ยป Widgets ), we can modify the display to fit your needs.
I’ll be watching for your reply.
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Tom
I’d like to help you get this resolved. Let’s start by checking a few of the more common errors. Can you confirm that your quotes aren’t being changed by WordPress? See the section labeled “Limitations of the [tribe_events] Shortcode”.
Next, can you confirm that an event is checked to be featured? While editing an event, on the right side of your screen you should see “Event Options”. Within that, is “Featured Event” checked on?
If both of these are correct, then we’ve got other things to sort out. I hope it’s a quick fix.
Thanks,
CourtneyMarch 9, 2017 at 4:42 am in reply to: Recurring events not showing past a certain date in calendar view #1251666CourtneyMemberHi Jeremy
I’d love to help you resolve this.
Can you check your settings for recurring events? Go to Events ยป Settings ยป General. Then look for “Create recurring events in advance for”. You can adjust the length of weeks that recurring events will continue to display here.
The other place to check is within the event itself. Go to Events ยป Hover over your event ยป Edit All. Scroll down to the Event Series area and Show Details. You can adjust the Series End time here.
Let me know if either of these solves the problem. ๐
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHey John!
I tried to replicate this issue on my local site as well. I found this shortcode:
[tribe_events view=”list” tribe-bar=”false” featured=true]
Can you try that to see if it meets your needs?
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Steve,
I’d like to be sure I’m follow you exactly on what you are experiencing. Hopefully, that will help resolve this issue for you quickly.
It sounds like you don’t see the area that I’ve outlined in red here:
Is that correct?
Could you also do a Conflict Test by disabling other plugins and using a default WordPress theme? Does this problem happen during that?
And finally, I see that WordPress on your website is due for an update. Does the problem occur after updating WordPress?
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtneyMemberHi Chris,
I’d be happy to help you sort this out. I took a peak at http://s625939.sf94.sharefaithwebsites.net/events/ and can see your recurring events on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Can you point me to an event that is showing on every day of the calendar or multiple times on the same day?
We offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase. However, I’m really hoping we can solve this and meet your needs quickly.
Thanks,
Courtney -
