Events double up on the month the occur

We have two shortcodes on a page, one to display the calendar view and one to display the list of upcoming events.

[tribe_mini_calendar category=”events”]
[tribe_events_list category=”events”]

We have 2 events in May. In March and April, it correctly shows the 2 events. However if you skip the mini calendar to May, the events show 4 events (both of the 2 events twice).

Please advise how to fix this, thanks.

Hi Michael

The mini calendar shortcode is designed to display the calendar above and a list view of events for that month below. The duplicate information appears in May because the calendar is pulling in the details for that month, plus you have the list additionally in the second short code.

Would it work to omit the second shortcode, showing just the listing for that month? This would prevent the duplication.
