MemberHi. We’ll answer this at your duplicate thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-sumission-shortcode-add-event-shortcode/
Cliff
MemberHi, Steven.
Please provide an example so I can try to replicate this, including any helpful links, screenshots, and also share your System Information in a Private Reply. This will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
Cliff
MemberHi, Joanna. You are correct that Filter Bar only works on The Events Calendar’s archive views (Month, List, Map, etc.)
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Mathew. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a confirmed issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Please also provide a screenshot of your count of Venues from yoursite-com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_venue
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Jack.
If they don’t have any custom coding, it could be built-in from their theme.
To add this yourself, please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/help-adding-category-to-tooltip-but-with/#post-1080199 for how to customize the tooltip.
Please let me know how this goes for you.
Cliff
MemberSounds good. Thanks for the update.
Cliff
MemberPut the .php file in a .zip and try.
Cliff
MemberI’d recommend trying the [tribe_community_events] shortcode. If it doesn’t work (I don’t think it works unless Pretty Permalinks are disabled), I’d suggest finding its function, doShortCode(), within /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/Tribe/Main.php
If this doesn’t help you get further along, would you be able to share an annotated screenshot, screen capture video, and/or relevant URLs to clarify exactly what you’re wanting here?

MemberHi. Sorry for this being an issue. I know it’s frustrating (for you and for me).
The thread you linked to actually turned out to have a plugin conflict on their site, but the information (a late March release) is probably still correct.
Most users do not have any issues with DST when using a city-based timezone, like you are, which is why it’s difficult for us to reproduce.
The bug is logged with our developers, but I don’t have any specific updates to share at this time other than they’ve been working on it.
One workaround might be to change the recurrence series to end just before DST and then create a new/separate recurrence series that starts after DST.
Again, this thread should receive an update once there’s new information to share.

MemberYou’re welcome. The correct way is to change the “End Date” of each ticket so that it is no longer available to purchase. You may also choose to leave it hidden from the Shop, but it’s already hidden by default, and even so they’d still be able to purchase from the Single Event page.
Cliff
MemberThe Say What? plugin is probably easiest.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberGlad to hear and thanks for letting us know.
Cliff
MemberSorry to hear that.
If you send me the plugin you created where it appeared on your page, I might be able to take a look and help figure it out for you.
