MemberHi Yan. Thanks for the update. Per our Scope of Support / Terms, we do not provide support for non-default WordPress themes. If the issue persists with the Twenty Fifteen theme, for example, please let me know.
Cliff
MemberEdgar, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Others, please create your own separate ticket so we can address each of your issues separately. Thanks for your understanding.

MemberHi Anne. Thanks for your messages.
We don’t delete forum threads, but we can make threads Private from public view if necessary. Let me know if this will be necessary for some reason.
Regarding your customization request, please understand that we don’t typically provide such support, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
But here’s an attempt to help you with this single request:
You should NEVER modify the core plugin files, otherwise you’ll lose all your customizations upon the next update. Instead, you should add your own custom CSS that is more specific so it overrides the existing CSS.
Here’s the existing CSS: http://cl.ly/1V2s3i331M07
Here’s some custom CSS you could add to target the Month View’s week day names areas:
body.post-type-archive-tribe_events .tribe-events-month .tribe-events-calendar thead th { background-color: pink; color: black; }You can add custom CSS code via your child theme’s style.css file or via a plugin like Simple Custom CSS or, my favorite, Jetpack. Jetpack supports regular CSS and the LESS and Sass pre-processors.
If you’re not a CSS expert, Jetpack’s Custom Design reference may prove helpful.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

MemberWhen you click the “Delete” link, you’ll see this prompt: http://cl.ly/141k0m3c3m3k
Notice that it says it’ll delete the files but not the data.
I’ve deactivated and deleted the plugin many times in my local testing site, and it does not lose any data.
Let me know how it goes.

Cliff
MemberHi again. Are you referring to this option: http://cl.ly/1s2z1I0O2f2m ?
(It was just added in our latest release — version 4.0.4 — from about a week ago.)
I confirmed that it only displays when PRO is active. I confirmed that it’s dealing with recurring series and therefore is correct to not display without PRO because PRO handles recurrence.
So, no, it’s not the same as the code snippet.
I hope this information helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
(Note: I modified this reply after receiving additional details from developers.)

MemberHi Greg. Thanks for your detailed questions and your past business.
iCal Importer can definitely be setup to continually check a single iCal link/feed and import the new events. However, for changes to events previously imported, you’ll probably be interested in this functionality: http://cl.ly/1s2z1I0O2f2m
Note that deleting and replacing (i.e. re-importing) will lose your customizations that you made to that event post-import (the last time you imported).
For more info about, check out our Running a Saved Recurring Import KB article.
Yes, it can handle feeds from Google Calendar.
Regarding Venues, #12 reads:
A note regarding venues: If you’re importing events with venue information attached, there are limitations to how the data is saved on import. Specifically, venue addresses will need to be manually added to the event in order for it to show in map view.
However, I believe there is some Venue Matching logic. For example, if you previously imported an event with the same Venue title, it’ll match to the existing Venue in your WordPress install.
You might already know that we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi Anne. Sorry you’re experiencing this frustration.
I’m unclear exactly what you’re wanting to customize or how you’re wanting to customize it.
Are you aware of our PRO Color Customizer settings?
If that doesn’t get you what you’re wanting, please be more specific (links and screenshots and the CSS you’re thinking should work) so I might be able to help with your desired customizations.
Thanks.

MemberHi Arlee. Thanks for your question about whether you should pick Event Tickets Plus, our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin, or Eventbrite Tickets. These 2 product sales page links include a link to each “New User Primer”. I suggest you read through those to get a deeper understanding of how to setup and use the plugins.
Obviously, there are pros and cons to each. If you pick Eventbrite, you’ll be relying on their API uptime and picking the features they offer. If you pick ET+, the entire transaction will happen on your own site (for better or worse) via one of the eCommerce plugins we support.
Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.
You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.
Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.
Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.
Technically, you could use both on your site (although probably not for a single event).
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi. Thanks for your detailed question; the screenshots helped.
I’d guess checking “Upload files” (technically the ‘upload_files’ capability) might be the missing piece.
I hope it works for you.

MemberHi Edgar. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
We have a pretty great Refund Policy — please reference that information, just FYI.
Hopefully we can solve your issue though. It’ll take some work on your end, since we don’t login to customers’ sites to make changes or test things for them (liability reasons).
We’re not seeing this issue on other sites. Looking into the code base, my best guess is that you don’t have The Events Calendar (free “core” plugin that PRO add-on requires), or it didn’t install fully/correctly.
Specifically, this file should exist — /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Dates/Known_Range.php — because that’s where class Tribe__Events__Dates__Known_Range is defined, which does include the
Please delete The Events Calendar plugin from your wp-admin, then re-install it via wp-admin.
And please make sure you have the latest versions of WordPress and all our plugins.
Please let me know if that solves the issue.

MemberHi Yan. Thanks for the helpful links and letting me know we can “talk code” 😉
On my local testing site (running latest versions of WP and all Modern Tribe plugins, all other plugins inactive, and using Twenty Fifteen theme), I created a new venue: http://cl.ly/0X0U2t1U2f2A — and it did assign it geocoordinates: http://cl.ly/0p3y2m0i0z0q
Then I assigned an upcoming event to be at that venue: http://cl.ly/0f42322K1e3Q — http://cl.ly/2O0u2q3b3M1H
Everything worked out just fine. Here’s the video: http://cl.ly/3e1I1o3R3c2W
I thought your issue was that your Map View wasn’t in the right time period to display that event, but I set your site’s Map View to April 2 (the date of your event), and it still didn’t make the map…
As such, the best I can do is suggest you make sure your database actually has the geocoordinates (like in my screenshot) and if that doesn’t solve it, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi Lee. Sure thing! Facebook Events add-on definitely works with multiple FB import sources.
Here’s a screenshot from the video at that page I linked to: http://cl.ly/0y411h0l1O2F

MemberOk, so if I understand correctly, if you do
[tribe_events_list category="5,6"]it’s correctly pulling in events that are in either category ID 5 OR category ID 6, and you’re wanting a way to pull only events that are in BOTH categories 5 AND 6, correct?I see this is an option in the Event List widget that comes with PRO: http://cl.ly/422D1l0H0k1u
However, I don’t see that as part of our tribe_events_list shortcode.
I’ll double-check with a developer and get back to you. In the meantime, maybe you could use a widget? If you really need it in shortcode form, this exists (3rd party, no guarantees): amr shortcode any widget
