Edgar
ParticipantI have experienced nothing but trouble with my purchase Events Calendar Pro and Tickets Pro…It will not allow me to create recurring events and shuts down my entire website when I do…this is the error I get and there seems to be no help for it.
I need a resolution now or will ask for a refund immediately.

MemberHi Edgar. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
We have a pretty great Refund Policy — please reference that information, just FYI.
Hopefully we can solve your issue though. It’ll take some work on your end, since we don’t login to customers’ sites to make changes or test things for them (liability reasons).
We’re not seeing this issue on other sites. Looking into the code base, my best guess is that you don’t have The Events Calendar (free “core” plugin that PRO add-on requires), or it didn’t install fully/correctly.
Specifically, this file should exist — /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Dates/Known_Range.php — because that’s where class Tribe__Events__Dates__Known_Range is defined, which does include the
Please delete The Events Calendar plugin from your wp-admin, then re-install it via wp-admin.
And please make sure you have the latest versions of WordPress and all our plugins.
Please let me know if that solves the issue.

ParticipantThank you for the reply. Before I delete the plugin, will it erase all of my other events when I reinstall? I’ve spent hours getting them up…

MemberWhen you click the “Delete” link, you’ll see this prompt: http://cl.ly/141k0m3c3m3k
Notice that it says it’ll delete the files but not the data.
I’ve deactivated and deleted the plugin many times in my local testing site, and it does not lose any data.
Let me know how it goes.

ParticipantI get that error message too. It seems to have happened after the last plugin update. I get the message below when I post a new event.
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Main::rebuild_known_range() in /home/theloca2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Queue_Processor.php on line 169

ParticipantI did as you said – deleted the plugin – activated it – redid the event and same error…
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Main::rebuild_known_range() in /home3/eros9292/public_html/compasscbs/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Queue_Processor.php on line 169

ParticipantHi folks
I get the same error whenever I update a recurring event.Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Main::rebuild_known_range() in /home3/eros9292/public_html/compasscbs/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Queue_Processor.php on line 169
The update actually works and sticks but you need to open the dashboard in a new tab after receiving the error message above.
We have everything up to date including WordPress, The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO.
Our other issues include:
The Duplicate Event seems to have disappeared off the single event editing screen.
When viewing events in Calendar view every day has “no events” whether there are events or not. There are definitely some bugs here that need looking at.
Looking forward to any help available on this.

ParticipantOK I found an update for Evnet Calendar PR0 4.0.7 and that fixed the fatal error problem.
Still have these issues:
The Duplicate Event seems to have disappeared off the single event editing screen.
When viewing events in Calendar view every day has “no events” whether there are events or not.

MemberEdgar, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Others, please create your own separate ticket so we can address each of your issues separately. Thanks for your understanding.

MemberThanks for your system report.
I see you have The Events Calendar 4.0.7 and PRO 4.0.7, both the latest versions, so this shouldn’t be happening.
Did you recently update these plugins? If yes, has it been happening since that update? If yes, you might be able to try downgrading both of them to version 4.0.5, but really if both are at version 4.0.7 things shouldn’t be broken.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

Participant4.0.7 Pro seems to have fixed it for me.
