MemberThanks for confirming.
I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
For future updates, until this thread receives an update that this bug was addressed, I’d recommend (as we always do anyway) having restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.
If a future update solves it before this thread receives an update, please do notify us.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberSorry, I noticed you posted in our Pre-Sales Forum so I posted that additional reply… but then I noticed you already have an account… so disregard… and I’ve moved this to the Events Calendar PRO forum instead.

MemberLast but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi. I confirmed with one of our developers that this is not a simple modification and therefore we can’t provide a code solution for you, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Since I’m unsure of all the project requirements, including the required format, I can share these general ideas:
- Your “other” site could use the REST API (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/introduction-events-calendar-rest-api/) to get data from your “events” site.
- If you really do need a customized export format, you’d have to create a new function or view (possibly use the Tribe__Events__Templates class) to build the data you need and make it available in some way.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, LS and Aidan.
Our tickets get sent via wp_mail(). Therefore, you might need to install an SMTP plugin if your tickets are being delivered inconsistently.
Besides our emails not sending, you probably also notice other emails not sending, such as password reset emails.
Here are a few to consider (not a comprehensive list and none are guaranteed or supported by us):
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
You could also use an email sending provider like https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailgun/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailin/ or other alternatives.
None of these providers are recommended in particular or supported by us, but I hope this information helps you make some progress.
To be clear, email deliverability is almost never an issue with our plugin; it’s a WordPress-level issue or even higher up, such as server settings or your domain or IP address being associated with SPAM (whether accurately or not).
Please let us know once you find out a working solution in case it might help other users, too.
Thanks!

MemberHi, Jennifer. The issue here is that Google is emailing you but the issue is not new.
There’s only an issue here if you have, for example, an event with a venue but Google’s not seeing the “location”… or if you have an event with Event Tickets tickets but the “offers” display an error.
Basically, Google prefers all events to have a location, performer, and offer (ticket).
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberI opened the .ics file you initially uploaded and there are only 10 events in it, from Sept 26-Oct 9. Here’s a video demonstrating this: https://cl.ly/8091098fc625
I visited https://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar and downloaded from the iCal export button at that site (webcal://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar/ical/2018-09/calendar.ics) and it did only export 10 events even though more were visible on the screen.
I’d recommend discussing the issue with that site owner.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions for me.

MemberThank you. The link to your calendar is http://lectureparnature.fr/?post_type=tribe_events – I thought the issue was that you had an inline link, which wouldn’t have come through via email replies (and I cannot tell which replies come through via email).
I was able to recognize what the issue is and reproduce it on my own testing site and therefore logged the bug internally.

MemberHi, Andrea. Thanks for your detailed question. I’m guessing you left the “Refine:” section’s “Date” field blank on the single import screen, or you have the import settings (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/) affecting what gets imported.
Please review and share your findings.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re having such issues. We avoid logging into customers’ sites, but we have these references regarding performance:
- Caching Basics
- Caching Month View Transients
- The Events Calendar Performance Considerations
- Some of our favorite plugins for developers
Please review and go through the various options and let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Sara. I’m hoping to help here, but I’m unclear exactly what you’re wanting.
Do you just want to generate the iCal and gCal export URLs?
Or are you wanting to get those via our REST API?
Or are you wanting to customize the content within the .ics file?
Cliff
MemberGlad to hear and thanks for letting us know.
Cliff
MemberThe tribe_events shortcode is a way to embed our main event views anywhere on your site. Therefore, its output matches that of yoursite/events/list
Do you want to alter the ordering of both the shortcode’s and main event view’s ordering?
Cliff
MemberCaroline, was “you can see here” supposed to be linked text? If yes, it didn’t come through.
Also, were you going to send login details via Private Message?
Cliff
MemberThanks for confirming.
If you downgrade just The Events Calendar to version 4.6.20.1, does the problem go away?
If yes, it could be caused by a known issue with one of our widget’s code loading on all pages… which could be caused by a separate bug about the widget code generating a console error (but different than what your site is experiencing).
Thanks for your efforts in testing.
