I am trying to import all future events from this calendar (from today through July 2019): https://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar/year
However, it only imports 13 of the events.
I have exported the events and imported to my Outlook calendar, to test that. However, it successfully imports all of the events to the Outlook calendar. I have included the ICS file as an attachment.
I have included the URL, but it may show up as a blank page, because it is in a “coming soon dev” mode. So, it requires the user to be logged in to access the page.
Thanks,

I’m guessing you left the “Refine:” section’s “Date” field blank on the single import screen, or you have the import settings (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/) affecting what gets imported.
Please review and share your findings.
September 28, 2018 at 7:29 am #1633129Andrea FergusonParticipantHi, thanks for the reply.
Under the settings, I have the settings set like this:
– Import Limit Type: # of events
– Import Quantity Limit: 3500 (way more events than I have to import, I set it high just to make sure it grabs everything)When importing, I have tried leaving the date blank and setting the date to current day’s date (to get all events on today and after), but I get the same results.
September 28, 2018 at 10:38 am #1633354CliffMemberI opened the .ics file you initially uploaded and there are only 10 events in it, from Sept 26-Oct 9. Here’s a video demonstrating this: https://cl.ly/8091098fc625
I visited https://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar and downloaded from the iCal export button at that site (webcal://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar/ical/2018-09/calendar.ics) and it did only export 10 events even though more were visible on the screen.
I’d recommend discussing the issue with that site owner.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions for me.
September 30, 2018 at 7:26 am #1634027Andrea FergusonParticipantHi, thanks. I’ve created a screencast show me importing the file to an Outlook calendar, and it importing many more than 10 events: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15qPvqkJzmcNPoB8vwUGUkFa-A4dSLlHz/view
October 1, 2018 at 4:19 pm #1634972CliffMemberThanks for that. The video I sent was using the .ics file from https://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar/year
However, looking at the .ics file you uploaded here, I see those are actually different.
Anyway, looking at the .ics file you uploaded here, I see there are 33 events. They are from September 26, 2018 through July 4, 2019.
Please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Import tab > “Import Limit Type” option and set it to “Do not limit” and see if that works instead of the 3,500 quantity limit.
Please let me know what you find out.
October 3, 2018 at 6:38 am #1636183Andrea FergusonParticipantHm, they shouldn’t be different. The ICS file I used is downloaded from that calendar, http://www.davidsonccc.edu/calendar/ical/2018/calendar.ics
I tried importing after changing that setting, but it still ends the imports on 11/9/18.
October 3, 2018 at 10:29 am #1636556CliffMemberI downloaded from that link and there are only 10 in that .ics file.
Their start times range from October 3 through October 16.
Please download a fresh copy, open it in a text editor, and confirm if this is also what you’re experiencing — searching for “BEGIN:VEVENT” and “DTSTART” — and let me know what you find out.
