    Thanks for clarifying, Paula.

This really does fall into the realm of custom coding.

I appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we cannot provide such in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.

If there’s a code snippet you’d like me to put some eyes on or something else I can help you with, please update this ticket or create a new ticket if it’s a separate issue.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Walter, I was able to reproduce this issue. Here’s a video of my testing: https://cl.ly/2k0w3F1e2Z2j

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Could you please confirm that this actually does not happen for non-recurring events from Google Calendar?

Very sorry to hear about this result, Derek. I’m glad your developer got it to no longer be a blank white page. Are you sure your dgwgo.com site does have Anonymous Submissions allowed still (maybe it got unchecked accidentally)?

So you’re saying that you created a fresh WordPress installation, added only our plugins, enabled Anonymous Submissions in Community Events’ settings, and then visiting /events/community/add from a browser where you’re logged out still did not work? If it didn’t, what did it do–blank white screen or redirect to a login form or something else?

Maybe your developer could share some insights to what they did or what bugs they think exist that we could look into replicating and then fixing for you and everyone else.

Sorry to hear that, Greg. That’s the ID that is included by default but you may have a theme or some other override that changed this default.

Please provide a link to one of your upcoming events where tickets are displayed.

Hi, David. Thanks for your detailed question.

These tags are actually shared from your Posts tags; they’re not specific to Events.

Therefore, the tags archive page (like the one you linked to) is your theme’s normal tag archive page.

Are you experiencing the same order of posts (by date published?) at all your tag archives (of the tags without any events in them)?

I’ve never used it or heard of it before, but https://wordpress.org/plugins/chronological-posts/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us) or something like it might come in handy.

And trying out some URL query arguments and these other tips might be helpful too.

Please let me know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi, Jason. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

    That’s definitely odd.

You might see if you can spot any console errors on this page (before and then after clicking the “Series ends” drop-down.

If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.

Please let me know what you find out.

Hi. Thanks for your detailed question.

Normally, I’d point you to our Themer’s Guide for how to customize something in the templates. However, I found that span.tribe-event-date-start comes from this function: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.5.5/src/functions/template-tags/general.php#L932-L1080

which is used by the List View template here: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.5.5/src/views/list/single-event.php#L50

Therefore, I’d instead suggest that you might want to consider using one of the filter hooks in the tribe_events_event_schedule_details() function (first GitHub link).

This article might help you with that: https://theeventscalendar.com/tips-working-wordpress-actions-filters/

Please let me know how this goes for you.

    Hi, Greg.

Please try the #buy-tickets selector on the single event page.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

    Hi, Paula.

Thanks for the screenshot; it really helped.

The reason for the Add to Cart button at the bottom is so a user could add more than one type of ticket to the cart, like 1 of Ticket A, 2 of Ticket B, and zero of Ticket C.

Are you saying you’d like people to only be able to buy 1 type of ticket per event?

FYI: The “Add to cart” button comes from this file: /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Hi, David. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

The reports you shared don’t seem very clear as to what the issue would be, other than something with the Venues.

Please share your System Information in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

Also, have you only recently been experiencing this or might this have started after doing an update or adding a lot of new events or venues or any other notable site changes?

Finally, how many posts do you have–Events, Organizers, Venues, Posts, Pages, etc?

Hi, Walter. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

Could you please paste the link to this calendar in a Private Reply so I can test and see if I can replicate the issue? (I know you included the screenshot, but please paste it here.)

    Thank you.

Robbie, what I proposed was the best solution if you wanted a fix prior to the official release. Since it appears you’re uncomfortable making this change, which is totally fine, please wait for its release.

As stated, this thread should get an update once the fix is released.

Although it’s not guaranteed, assuming the release does not get delayed, it should come out late this week or possibly next week. Therefore, I’d recommend just awaiting that and your fix will be hopefully fixed for you with no more effort than doing an automatic update like you usually do.

And regarding us having access to your back-end… we do not have access to your wp-admin or your server (SFTP, cPanel, etc). If you enabled the ability for us to pull your System Information Report (from wp-admin > Events > Help), it’s not working, as I cannot see any sites with the ability to do so… but even if you did check that box then the System Information Report is the only thing we’d have access to–read-only, no write access.

Again, please await the upcoming release, which hopefully should just be a couple more days.

    Thank you.
