We’ve got the calendar integrated on this web site:
http://www.raisingarizonakids.com/calendar/
I was wondering how I can override the view for the where the date and time are displayed for each event. Namely, altering the contens of the spans of classes tribe-event-date-start and tribe-event-time.
June 20, 2017 at 11:22 pm #1300904CliffMemberHi. Thanks for your detailed question.
Normally, I’d point you to our Themer’s Guide for how to customize something in the templates. However, I found that span.tribe-event-date-start comes from this function: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.5.5/src/functions/template-tags/general.php#L932-L1080
which is used by the List View template here: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.5.5/src/views/list/single-event.php#L50
Therefore, I’d instead suggest that you might want to consider using one of the filter hooks in the tribe_events_event_schedule_details() function (first GitHub link).
This article might help you with that: https://theeventscalendar.com/tips-working-wordpress-actions-filters/
Please let me know how this goes for you.
