    Hello azagency,

We wrote up a quick tutorial for editing the title: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/add-start-time-to-event-title-in-month-view/

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

Oh I see! I was looking at it wrong. It’s like a daily agenda with multiple sections per hour.

Nothing we have ships with that view, but we have a templating structure to help build such a view.

This plugin will offer your developers a great starting point.

    https://github.com/moderntribe/tribe-events-agenda-view

That plugin in conjunction with our Themer’s Guide, you could probably make a template override to display what you want.

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

    Hello eastbayaa,

Thanks for starting a new thread.

The short answer unfortunately is this is not fully supported at this time. If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit this idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

The longer answer is that there are several ways to mostly implement what you want. You cannot make multiple calendars right now, but you can filter how you display the one. But I think each solution will fall short of what you are looking for:

    Filter Bar

The Filter Bar plugin does exactly what you are asking and even has its own url scheme for sharing like you asked. For example on my local system, the following url represents the following screenshot. You could easily create categories and filter by “Member Only” and “Public” like I have for “Barbecue”. The issue of course is that the public could easily uncheck the filters and see every listed event, including “Member Only”. This might not be an issue, but seems like it would be.

    http://events.plugin/events/2014-05/?tribe-bar-date=2014-05&tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=3?tribe-bar-date=2014-05&tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=3

    Private Events

Another option is to make the “Member Only” events set to Private publishing. This makes it only available to people who are signed in with an account. If you look on the 29th and 30th, I set the Robert Campbell events to private, and they disappear off the public calendar. This way the actual events are hidden from the public, something you cannot do with just the Filter Bar. Of course however, you cannot filter by private events and thus there is no separate filtering.

Certain user role plugins may give you more advanced functionality, for example https://www.s2member.com/. However we don’t currently support or endorse any 3rd party plugin for the functionality you are looking for. You may be able to find something useful though.

I wish I could give you a better answer!

    Hi aalmon,

As much as I’d like to help I cannot provide this much CSS customization and support.Unfortunately that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums.

The above code is updated one last time and it should work. (needed !important to override previous styles)

The view toggle feature is already there, just appearing differently as buttons across the top. I’m not sure how it got there, I believe it is a functionality in Espresso theme.

We’d love to help as much as we’re able! Please limit the forums to one topic per thread. However, we will have to politely decline any more CSS customizations requests and close those threads.

If you need further CSS help, we have a list of freelance developers we can send you way.

Sounds good, I think I understand better now.

If you want to create a view based on publish date instead of event date, I would check out our Themer’s Guide. You could probably make a template override to display what you want. Unfortunately that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums. But that is where I would start.

Regarding the ‘trips’ comment, that was just a bad example on my part to explain the difference between ‘events’ and ‘not-really-events’. 🙂

    Hi pholzer,

Thanks for contacting us! Sorry you’re having troubles.

This problem could be caused by any number of things.

Can you tell me the steps you took to change the URL? A plugin or manual search/replace?

Also, in the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hello kookinho!

Thanks for contacting us, sorry you are having difficulties!

I searched your site but wasn’t able to find the widget, could you link it in a reply? Maybe you removed it or the event ended. I’d love to have a look though.

    Thanks!

    Hi Ian!

I believe you are looking for Community Events, one of our more popular add-on plugins.

Visiting users can submit and edit events to be moderated by the admin. Feel free to register and try it out on our demo site.

As far as general front side editing, that is not a feature yet.

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

Does this make sense? I’d be happy to answer anything else for you!

    Hi James!

I wish I could give you a better answer, but that level of customization is just beyond the scope of these forums and our support. We try to make that clear on the front page of the forums along with the Events Pro product page, but I’m sorry we didn’t appropriately set your expectations.

If you would like to email [email protected], we can send you a list of freelance developers we have worked with in the past. For one of them, it may be simple to do.

Sorry for the disappointing answer! I wish I had a better response for you. :/
